Thinking about Aeromix babies and somehow I ended up crafting the framework for an SCP equivalent in Lore.  I'm calling them the Forgotten.

Basically it's a shadow organization that's been going on for thousands of years dedicated from keeping the things that go bump in the night to a minimal level of danger.  So Lore as it is now with all its demons, horrors, and necromancers?  Threat Level Minimum.  In effect it functions as a cross between the SCP Foundation and the MIB.

It maintains itself by conscripting its workers from the global population.  If you were born on Lore, you have a family member who was Forgotten, regardless of where you live or what race you are.  A new member is conscripted from each family exactly one hundred years after the previous operative from that family either retired or died, and there is no way to get out of conscription.  If you off yourself before joining, they'll just pick someone else from your family.

Their name derives from the fact that those who join their ranks are erased from memory, their appearance changed and their names replaced by a three digit number assigned at random.  They are allowed to retain the memories of their life before joining, but to the rest of the world, they are Forgotten.

Those serving among the Forgotten do not serve indefinitely—they are bound to service for a period of twelve years, no more no less, and on the final day their name/appearance will be returned to them, their life restored in the memory of the world, and they are free to leave and be Remembered once again.

If you die on the job though, you stay Forgotten forever.

Side note, my brain actually made a little mnemonic for this:  Twelve years or my life you'll get from me, and for one hundred years my kin shall be free. 

So, how does this all link back to Aeromix babies?  I'm making their eldest child one of these guys.

I'm gonna assume Aeromix happens in that AU where Tomix is restored after defeating Envy and not reborn as Tiny Tom.

That in mind, what's he gonna tell his mom when she inevitably starts asking about if he's found a nice girl/when she might expect grandkids?
