Due to Greek Gods aging much slower than mortals, it must be wild to go through apotheosis. A 100 year old god is like a 10 year old mortal.
Are you age regressed so your mortal age aligns? Was Helen reverted into an egg? Do they retain all their memories or do they temporarily lose them until they get older? Can an egg even remember what it's like to be loved?
Does your age transfer into god years like we do with dog years? Do the younger gods have to treat peeps who where born centuries after them as older? Does Zeus respect Aesculapius as an elder?
Is time not a factor in the age of a god? Can one god present older than another despite being born second? How do younger gods who postdate humans and as such are (in part) culturally mortal feel about this? Is this what the Twins are constantly bickering about?
Is your age decided by divine council? Can you get relegated to toddler just because Hera thinks your too bratty?
Joke post and not an actual discussion on greek mythology although I would be interested to hear peeps interpretation of the historic sources on this.

Aesculapius (greek god of medicine) pays tribute at a Moloch statue (Phonecian God Baal) to Edward Jenner (Freemason & creator of the first vaccine for humans) for introducing vaccination. Etching by J. Gerstner after Ignaz Joseph Weidlich, 1801.
Moloch is the biblical name for Phoenician-Canaanite sacrificial rites, which, according to biblical tradition, involved the sacrifice of children by fire.

This one photo of marble votive eyes stared at me for too long. So here's my offering to the father of physicians. A prayer for their eyes to open, for their sight to heal. I don't know what else to do, how to make people see and care. So many deaths, pain and atrocities around, and no one cares. They choose to ignore. Some even genuinely believe there's nothing wrong. Almost two years of this goddamn war. Help us, Asklepios, son of long-shooting Apollo, you're our only hope.
