Aurora was the middle child of three. Her older sister, Renata, was an accomplished dancer, and her younger brother, Avery, had always wanted to be a doctor. The three Jackson children were intelligent and driven, and these qualities were encouraged by their loving parents. This only led to success for the siblings. Aurora graduated high school at 16, finished college and the police academy by 20, and, at 22, became the youngest detective the LAPD had ever seen. 

Being not only the youngest detective, but a young, attractive female on the force didn't always make things easy for Aurora, but she was driven and strong and determined to prove herself. Her one-track focus on her career earned her not only accolades from her superiors, but the nickname "Ice Queen" from her peers.

Aurora's talents brought success to the force until she was 25, when she got on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s radar while working protection detail for Tony Stark. She was approached by Nick Fury himself about training to become an Agent with S.H.I.E.L.D. Unwilling to leave her current job, she politely declined.

When Manhattan was attacked by creatures from outer space, Aurora witnessed the death of Jacob Ernest, her partner of 5  years. Out of a job, and distraught over the death of her partner, she called S.H.I.E.L.D. about their job offer one year prior. Since they were short on agents, she was flown to New York and immediately started her training to become an agent.

Wanda has always been running, and it’s always been beside her twin brother. When she was younger, she and Pietro were taken care of by a Romanian couple in eastern Europe, but when their mutant abilities began to surface, the small-town country folk saw it as sinister evil. After a number of attacks on their cottage when they were in their teens, Wanda and her brother left the country in order to keep their adoptive parents safe. They went from country to country, staying in abandoned homes that they found, away from the main roads, but still close enough to the town they could get supplies from the local market. Typically after a couple months people would start poking around, watching them, finding that there was something “off” about them. It would be then that someone would see Pietro run faster than anything they’d ever seen, or Wanda make something appear out of thin air just by wanting it. The person would always tun back to town, warning the others of the "evil". It never took long for a mob to congregate, or for heated words to be exchanged, or for violence to occur. Together they would leave and find the next place for them. Usually they would hop from country to country, but tended to stay in Germany or the Baltic states. They both picked up several languages. The twins soon traveled to New York, though Wanda was more hesitant of the city, given the recent attacks and the surface of various heroes with strange powers like them. However, she soon adapted and even got herself a job though it all changed when a man named Nick Fury approached her as week as her brother and offered them a place amongst the heroes known as the Avengers. Though her brother was hesitant at first, she agreed, knowing that they might've found a place where they'd be accepted.

Born in California, Betty was the only child of Air Force General Thaddeus Ross and his wife Karen Lee. Karen died when Betty was a teenager, causing Thaddeus to shut Betty out of his life, claiming that a military base was no place for a young woman. Betty went off to boarding school. By the time she returned, her father Thaddeus was in charge of the top secret Gamma Bomb Project at Desert Base in New Mexico. Betty greeted the bomb's creator, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner, when he arrived at the base.

A strong attraction grew between Bruce and Betty. However, Thaddeus held resentment for the quiet, slender, nuclear physicist thinking him a physical and emotional weakling. Thaddeus' dislike of Bruce intensified when he realized that Betty was falling in love with him. Exposure to intense gamma radiation caused Bruce to transform repeatedly from then on into the monstrous Hulk. Although Bruce managed at first to keep his identity a secret his activities as the Hulk led to circumstances that caused Thaddeus and his security chief Major Glenn Talbot to suspect Bruce of being a traitor. Glenn fell in love with Betty himself. However, Betty remained devoted to Bruce through all of his trouble even when it became known that Bruce was the Hulk. After the New York incident between The Hulk and The Abomination, the Hulk went back into hiding in India and Betty returned to her teaching job at the university.

The Manhattan Incident revealed the return of the Hulk on television as Betty struggled to face the truth that Bruce had returned yet again. After reaching out to various sources, she soon found out that Bruce had taken up temporary residence at Stark Tower and finally mustered enough courage to confront him.

Open Character: Morgana Sullivan | Witch | Media Relations Intern at Stark Industries | Alignment: Neutral | 28 years old

Morgana came from a long line of witches with a rather interesting family tradition. Whereas she was sure that normal witch families did rituals just as they did, Morgana knew that theirs was one highly frowned upon, even by pagan standards. After all, to drain the life of others to extend your own life and youth, well, you were hardly any better than a vampire or demon! But for centuries, that was exactly what the Sullivan witches did, finding young and particularly healthy victims every ten years or so (sometimes sooner if an exception simply had to be made) in order to keep their biological clock from ticking.

She learned magic at a young age from her mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and even a great-great-great grandmother who had managed to keep herself alive. They taught her everything they could, enabling the young, bright-eyed Morgana to continue their family legacy. Life-sucking magic was not the only thing they taught her, of course. She was heavily practiced in a variety of magical arts by the time she was thirteen. Even for Sullivan witches, Morgana was something of a prodigy.

But magic was not the only thing that interested her. The world around her, how it was so heavily influence by media and such, had always fascinated her. Her ancestors all kept simple jobs, like nurses or teachers, something that they could move easily if someone became suspicious of their seemingly eternal youth. But Morgana had more ideas. She wanted to be successful in her own way, and she wanted others to know her face. She attended a prestigious university and eventually ended up at Stark Industries as a Media Relations intern, often working with the CEO and his staff directly.

Morgana has only used her magic once, after a car accident that would have left her scarred for life. And well, she simply could not have that. She was a walking revolution, and her vanity would not allow her to be anything but perfect when her time came.

Darcy Lewis was a political science student, who ended up being assigned to astrophysicist Jane Foster as a graduate student due to the lack of applicants for Jane's graduate request. Whilst accompanying Jane and her colleague Erik Selvig in a van, she ended up tazering the Norse God Thor, after he accidentally collided with his van. Though first unsure of Thor’s ramblings, she found him fascinating and quickly became his friend.

When the Destroyer invaded Puente Antigua, she, along with Erik helped clear the area of civilians along with the help of Sif and the Warriors Three. After Thor returned to Asgard, Darcy continued to work with Jane and Erik, assisting them in their work on the Einstein-Rosen Bridge and the minute S.H.I.E.L.D. offered Jane Foster a job in Norway, Darcy gladly tagged along. The two continued their research there until word of Erik’s possession reached their ears coupled with the news of the Manhattan incident. The two reasons prompted the girls to return to New York where they helped SHIELD assist in studying the effects of the Tesseract’s portal powers.

When the supernatural threat arose in New York, Darcy accepted a full time job at S.H.I.E.L.D. to help find a way to combat the creatures with Jane and Erik. She is still waiting for Phil Coulson to return her iPod.

Jacklyn, or “Jack” for short, grew up in a caring, supportive family in a suburb of Philadelphia. Her mother, father, and younger brother, Jake, were Jack’s best friends. A card-carrying member of MENSA with a wide variety of interests, it was a breeze for Jack to get into Princeton with a full scholarship provided by Stark Industries and she spent her years at the Ivy League school learning as much about everything as she could. Occasionally her studies took her away from socializing with her peers, or even her family, but she knew that the important people in her life would still be there when she had filled her brain to the brim.

Unfortunately, Jack returned home just before graduation to find her family outside, drained dry of blood. The police were at a loss as to what happened, until a mysterious man with an eye patch explained to the confused girl that her family was killed by vampires. A scientific mind, by nature, it was hard for Jacklyn to grasp the existence of these creatures, but the man, Director Fury, he called himself, appealed to her logical side and she soon saw the truth. After graduation she worked in the R&D Department of Stark Industries as an intern, but her smart mouth frustrated her supervisors and she was shifted from department to department.

Eventually, Pepper Potts herself took an interest in the sharp-tongued, and equally sharp-witted young girl and offered her a paid position as her assistant. Never one to turn down a good opportunity, Jack took up Ms. Potts on the offer and found herself in a role that fit her nicely. The job was challenging enough, gave her the freedom to take on some personal projects, and was a good use of her organizing skills. Never one to take to a physical fight unless she had to, Jack prefers to fight the good fight from behind the scenes, helping wherever she’s needed.

From the beginning, happiness was something that eluded Mary Jane. Growing up in a household full of stray strikes, drunken parents, and broken dreams, the only happiness she found was in the embrace of acting. The art of becoming another person to escape herself. She started from an early age, acting in elementary school plays all the way up to playing the leads in almost every high school performance. When she was young, Mary Jane would visit her Aunt Anna regularly. She was the eldest sister of her father, but shared none of the horrible character flaws the rest of her family seemed to possess. She loved spending time with her Aunt Anna, and loved even more the play with the kids in that nice neighborhood in Queens, especially her next door neighbor, Peter Parker.

Her stays with her Aunt Anna became so frequent she eventually moved in there just in time to start high school. After the death of Peter's Uncle Ben, the grieving May Parker and Peter stayed the night at the Watson household, feeling better in the company of friends. Mary Jane went to check on Peter before bed, only to find the one and only Spider-Man crawling out of the window and into the night. Mary Jane kept the information a secret from everyone, even Peter, until one day the teenagers' Aunts decided to set the two up on a date soon after Peter had broken up with Gwen Stacy. Mary Jane knew nothing would come of it because of how upset Peter was, and the two decided to stay friends. This is when Mary Jane decided to share with Peter her knowledge of his alter ego, and she agreed to help him whenever she was needed.

Today, Mary Jane rents a loft in downtown Manhattan, getting by on off-Broadway acting gigs and singing in clubs and coffee shops. She still helps Peter whenever she can, and has been informed by S.H.I.E.L.D. that they are aware of her knowledge, and a close eye is being kept on her.

Annabelle (preferred name: Anna) was born to a wealthy New York business man. The family originally made their money in the oil trade, but Anna's father Sebastian opted to sell his shares in the business and use the money to launch a fashion magazine. His gamble paid off and he is now known as the owner of one of the most successful and influential fashion magazines in the U.S. Ever since she was young, Anna remembered being dragged to social events and parties. She had a strong distaste for it. Being a natural tom-boy, Anna much preferred athletics and physical activity. She was the little girl who liked to climb trees and play in the mud, and her father hated it. As soon as she turned eighteen, Anna went against her father's wishes that she attend an Ivy League College and enrolled in the police academy instead. To pay her back for her rebellion, her father disinherited her. 

Being a young woman in the police force, especially when many people knew her father and her history, was difficult, but Anna was determined to prove herself. Her chance to shine came when New York City was attacked by alien creatures who emerged from the portal created by Loki. She was one of the members of law enforcement who assisted in the battle and evacuation. Her actions and displays of bravery and initiative impressed S.H.I.E.L.D deputy director Maria Hill and Anna was offered the opportunity to leave the police force and join the government espionage organization. She of course accepted. 

Maria Hill saw the agent excel in her field of work and at times, saw a lot of herself in the young agent, particularly the fact that they both had fathers who didn't appreciate them as their own people. It came as a surprise when Maria recruited Anna to be her protege, but Anna readily accepted. .
