Not much is known about Kayla Silverfox’s past. She was a young mutant member of the Blackfoot Indian tribe who, in the early 1910s, fell in love with a young mutant named Logan and shared a cabin with him in a remote community in the Canadian Rockies. The two were living happily until Kayla was attacked and supposedly killed by Sabretooth prompting Logan to reinitiate himself into the Weapon X program only to soon find out that that Kayla was alive all this time and that her death was faked in a grand plan to copy Wolverine’s powers. Kayla, all this time, had been a part of William Stryker’s team, forced to follow his orders to manipulate Logan on the condition that William would let her imprisoned sister go free. Kayla tried to assure Wolverine that their feelings for each other were real as her power never worked on him but he didn’t believe her.

Kayla suffered major injuries in the final assault on the Island prison facility. Before dying, however, she touched William Stryker and commanded him to walk until his feet bled. After Wolverine regained consciousness he managed to catch a glimpse of her dead body but as he was suffering from amnesia, he couldn’t recognize her. Kayla’s body remained there in limbo. She was not truly dead, because along with possessing tactile mind control ability, the injuries triggered her long dormant regenerative factor. She lay there, slowly healing until her sister Emma, who, with the help of Charles Xavier, rescued and nursed Kayla back to health.  Fully recovered, she begged Charles to never real her identity or whereabouts to anyone, especially Logan

Though physically healed, Kayla could not escape her past or her emotional turmoil and it was then that she caught wind of HYDRA's plans for Wolverine. The terrorist organization wanted to experiment on him and mass produce soldiers of war with his abilities but before they could, Kayla offered up herself and her services instead. For years she carried out HYDRA's plans, using her powers to gain an advantage in both the military and political side until Kayla finally cracked. She had helped kill thousands of people in HYDRA's name and could not bear it anymore, so, she ran. She was found by Rupert Giles, roaming the streets of New York City, fighting off a vampire who was trying to attack a homeless man. Recognizing the overwhelming guilt in her, Giles offered her a place at Slayer Headquarters, so long as she taught the slayers and watchers all she knew about mutants and helped train the slayers, providing them with a fighting partner who cannot die. Kayla took the offer and beginning to find peace again.

Born in California, Betty was the only child of Air Force General Thaddeus Ross and his wife Karen Lee. Karen died when Betty was a teenager, causing Thaddeus to shut Betty out of his life, claiming that a military base was no place for a young woman. Betty went off to boarding school. By the time she returned, her father Thaddeus was in charge of the top secret Gamma Bomb Project at Desert Base in New Mexico. Betty greeted the bomb's creator, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner, when he arrived at the base.

A strong attraction grew between Bruce and Betty. However, Thaddeus held resentment for the quiet, slender, nuclear physicist thinking him a physical and emotional weakling. Thaddeus' dislike of Bruce intensified when he realized that Betty was falling in love with him. Exposure to intense gamma radiation caused Bruce to transform repeatedly from then on into the monstrous Hulk. Although Bruce managed at first to keep his identity a secret his activities as the Hulk led to circumstances that caused Thaddeus and his security chief Major Glenn Talbot to suspect Bruce of being a traitor. Glenn fell in love with Betty himself. However, Betty remained devoted to Bruce through all of his trouble even when it became known that Bruce was the Hulk. After the New York incident between The Hulk and The Abomination, the Hulk went back into hiding in India and Betty returned to her teaching job at the university.

The Manhattan Incident revealed the return of the Hulk on television as Betty struggled to face the truth that Bruce had returned yet again. After reaching out to various sources, she soon found out that Bruce had taken up temporary residence at Stark Tower and finally mustered enough courage to confront him.

Open Character: James "Logan" Howlett | Mutant | Alignment: Avengers Initiative | 100+ years old

The mutant who would come to be known simply as "Logan" was born James Howlett, the second son of Elizabeth Howlett and the illegitimate son of the Howlett's grounds-keeper, Thomas Logan. As a boy, James was notably frail and prone to bouts of allergic attack and was largely neglected by his mother. One night, Thomas, in a drunken stupor and armed with a shotgun, invaded the Howlett Estate with his son, Viktor. In an attempt to stop him, John, Sr. was shot in the head. James had just entered the room when this occurred and his mutation finally manifested; bone claws extended from the backs of his hands and he attacked the intruders with uncharacteristic ferocity, killing Thomas. Already an emotionally disturbed woman, Elizabeth, completely unhinged, drove James away and took her life, immediately afterward, with a blast from Thomas' gun.

After many decades of traveling across the world with his brother, most of which were spent as a soldier for one country or another, Logan found himself drafted into a Black Ops squad run by the CIA, called Team X during which he worked on various espionage assignments: these included missions with Captain America in Nazi Germany, and several long term missions in Vladivostok, Russia, where he worked with Nick Fury before he was appointed to the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. After several years of service in Team X, due to his rapid healing and other characteristics he was drafted into the Weapon X program. Though he initially refused, the staged death of his lover, Kayla Silverfox at the hand of his brother, drove Logan's desire to avenge her and accept his invitation into the program. It was there that Logan became Wolverine, his bone claws transformed into into admantium ones with the element coating his entire body making him virtually indestructible.

After exacting his revenge and losing his memory in the process, he spent many years traveling alone until at long last he found himself caught in the world of the mutants that he'd tried so hard to stay away from. He soon found himself with some place to call home again; with the X-Men. However, he was uprooted once again when Director Fury cashed in a favor and asked him to report to S.H.I.E.L.D. to face an unfamiliar threat, one of the supernatural nature.

A disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary , this aptly named “merc with a mouth” is famous for his chaotic and improvised fighting style. Not much is known about his past except that he was the disturbed and already partly insane son of a decorated war hero, often daydreaming childish and dangerous ideas, spurring him to the mercenary lifestyle. In America, Wade met and fell in love with mutant teenage prostitute Vanessa Carlysle, with whom he shared dreams of a better life. Learning that he had contracted cancer, Wilson broke up with his girlfriend Vanessa rather than force her to remain with a terminally ill man. He even gave up his chemo treatments, not wishing to prolong things.

In Canada, he was offered hope in the form of Department K, a special weapons development branch of the Canadian government. Wilson became a test subject in Department K’s branch of the joint U.S./Canadian superhuman enhancement project, the Weapon X Program; his cancer was temporarily arrested via the implantation of a healing factor derived from another Department K agent, the mutant adventurer Wolverine. Most of his past is unknown even to himself because of his mental condition.

Though not a team player, once the supernatural threat towards New York grew, he was bribed with a hefty sum by Nick Fury to come and work for S.H.I.EL.D. and assist with wiping out the threat posed to the city.

Anya was born in Sweden in the year 860. Her human name was Aud and she fell in love with a man named Olaf, a Viking warrior who enjoyed hunting trolls and drinking ale. After a night of heavy drinking, Olaf was unfaithful and in an act of revenge, Anya turned him into a troll. The demon D'Hoffryn took note of her act and offered her a chance to become a vengeance demon. She accepted his offer, taking on the name Anyanka and spending over a thousand years as a patron saint of scorned women, exacting revenge on men who mistreated their loved ones. She came to Sunnydale in the guise of a student named Anya to convince a scorned Cordelia to make a wish of vengeance against Xander Harris. Things went wrong and Anya's power center was broken by the wishverse Rupert Giles, turning her into her human form again. Trapped as a human and stripped of her immortality and power, Anya struggled to adjust. She pursued a relationship with Xander Harris, her final mark, and he attempted to guide her through the world. She became initiated as a member of the so-called Scooby Gang but didn't always feel like she fit in, though she did find her niche working at the Magic Box with Giles, using her hundreds of years of knowledge and head for business to her advantage. She and Xander separated when he left her at the altar and scorned, she became a vengeance demon again briefly, only to give up her powers and return to help the Scooby Gang fight the first evil when she realized she didn't have the heart to inflict such acts of torment any longer. Anya lost her life in the battle for the hellmouth before it was finally closed. Nearly a year had passed since Anya's death. She had died defending the world and she did not know why she would have been given life again. Not one to complain about things that were of benefit to her, though, Anya chose not to spend too much time questioning it. Answers would come, or they wouldn't. She soon discovered that the world she had awoken in was filled with just as many threats, both supernatural and human, as it had been before she died. Doing some digging, she discovered that the former Scooby Gang had relocated to New York and set out to find them, both to discover the meaning behind her resurrection and, perhaps if it was convenient, or she was asked really nicely, to help fight the good fight.

Little does she know that her former employer D'Hoffryn was the reason behind her revival, and it is only a matter of time before he asks for some form of payment for the favor he has granted her.

Darcy Lewis was a political science student, who ended up being assigned to astrophysicist Jane Foster as a graduate student due to the lack of applicants for Jane's graduate request. Whilst accompanying Jane and her colleague Erik Selvig in a van, she ended up tazering the Norse God Thor, after he accidentally collided with his van. Though first unsure of Thor’s ramblings, she found him fascinating and quickly became his friend.

When the Destroyer invaded Puente Antigua, she, along with Erik helped clear the area of civilians along with the help of Sif and the Warriors Three. After Thor returned to Asgard, Darcy continued to work with Jane and Erik, assisting them in their work on the Einstein-Rosen Bridge and the minute S.H.I.E.L.D. offered Jane Foster a job in Norway, Darcy gladly tagged along. The two continued their research there until word of Erik’s possession reached their ears coupled with the news of the Manhattan incident. The two reasons prompted the girls to return to New York where they helped SHIELD assist in studying the effects of the Tesseract’s portal powers.

When the supernatural threat arose in New York, Darcy accepted a full time job at S.H.I.E.L.D. to help find a way to combat the creatures with Jane and Erik. She is still waiting for Phil Coulson to return her iPod.

From the beginning, happiness was something that eluded Mary Jane. Growing up in a household full of stray strikes, drunken parents, and broken dreams, the only happiness she found was in the embrace of acting. The art of becoming another person to escape herself. She started from an early age, acting in elementary school plays all the way up to playing the leads in almost every high school performance. When she was young, Mary Jane would visit her Aunt Anna regularly. She was the eldest sister of her father, but shared none of the horrible character flaws the rest of her family seemed to possess. She loved spending time with her Aunt Anna, and loved even more the play with the kids in that nice neighborhood in Queens, especially her next door neighbor, Peter Parker.

Her stays with her Aunt Anna became so frequent she eventually moved in there just in time to start high school. After the death of Peter's Uncle Ben, the grieving May Parker and Peter stayed the night at the Watson household, feeling better in the company of friends. Mary Jane went to check on Peter before bed, only to find the one and only Spider-Man crawling out of the window and into the night. Mary Jane kept the information a secret from everyone, even Peter, until one day the teenagers' Aunts decided to set the two up on a date soon after Peter had broken up with Gwen Stacy. Mary Jane knew nothing would come of it because of how upset Peter was, and the two decided to stay friends. This is when Mary Jane decided to share with Peter her knowledge of his alter ego, and she agreed to help him whenever she was needed.

Today, Mary Jane rents a loft in downtown Manhattan, getting by on off-Broadway acting gigs and singing in clubs and coffee shops. She still helps Peter whenever she can, and has been informed by S.H.I.E.L.D. that they are aware of her knowledge, and a close eye is being kept on her.

Open Character: Andrew Wells | Human | Watcher | Alignment: Slayer Organization  | 22 Years Old

Andrew had always been the younger brother, the weirdo, the less important. He was used to the bullying and the ridicule, but took solace in the thought that one day he could best all those bullies by following in his older brother Tucker’s footsteps and learn to summon demons. His skill gained the attention of classmates Warren Mears and Jonathan Levinson, fellow outcasts, causing them to form The Trio, an attempt at a supervillain group. They performed petty crimes and were a general annoyance to Buffy and her friends until Warren accidentally shot Willow’s girlfriend Tara, causing Willow to be consumed by dark magicks and seek out The Trio for revenge. Andrew and Jonathan lived to tell the tale, though Warren wasn’t so lucky, and fled to Mexico.

When The First Evil appeared to Andrew in the form of his late friend Warren, his naïve nature let him be swayed into killing Jonathan, his only remaining friend, in an attempt to open the hellmouth under Sunnydale High School. When caught by Buffy and friends, he was held hostage by them. Eventually, Andrew showed interest in helping the Scoobies in their battle against The First. He felt guilty for his actions while part of The Trio, and for murdering Jonathan. He sought redemption through battling The First and fighting on the side of good, even ready to die for his sins. He helped the potential slayers in any way he could as they arrived at the Summers household and fought alongside the potentials-turned-slayers and the Scoobies in the battle at the hellmouth, being one of lucky ones to survive and escape Sunnydale before it was completely destroyed.

After the destruction of Sunnydale, Andrew started formal training as a watcher under the leadership of Rupert Giles. He gained confidence and strength from this training, overcoming his childishness and taking his role as a watcher very seriously. He was granted command over his own slayer task force over the hellmouth in Cleveland, Andrew trained his slayers even harder and contacted Giles often for advice and guidance. In Cleveland, he helped Vi and Kennedy deal with the blow back after various Slayers in their care died under mysterious circumstances. When they were called to come and assist the Slayers in New York, Andrew willingly went to aid his friends.
