God my anxiety surrounding my vision is so bad lately.

I have my first eye exam in a few years on Thursday so that Likely isn’t helping, but it also just Feels like my vision is... off.

Shit seems blurrier, I feel like I can’t focus on visuals as well, and my after-images are Very bad right now.

I always have bad after images, but they seem more exaggerated lately?? Like I’m talking the sort of after image where you just have to hold your line of sight on something, and the moment you look away there’s a flash of an after image that might not last long, but it’s there and it didn’t take long for it to get there.

So I’m trying to focus on working on a painting, but every time I move my eyes I’m getting a flash of an after-image from either a distinct part of the painting, my references, or the tool box on the side of my screen. 

I have been straining my eyes more lately (working on a lot of art), and with the anxiety of that eye exam maybe this is more normal than I think it is...

But I’m mostly dreading the eye exam because I’ve had this like-- floater-like thing in the bottom left corner of my left eye that wont go away (it’s like a bright, undefined shape/line that I see mostly when I turn my head) and it is driving me up a wall with dread.

I should just try to relax until I can go to that eye appointment, but I have a lot of art stuff to work on so I’m like Very focused on my vision atm and I Hate it.
