Guys… maybe the real Long Walk… was the friends we made along the way 😌 Okay, but I really wish the movie had given us one proper SunRay moment like in the book.
Ray literally sees Baker as beautiful. Yes, Baker gives him his cross, but I think they could’ve added a scene with just the two of them—something more personal, like what Ray has with McVries.
That said, I can’t lie—the movie did not disappoint with Olson and Baker. What’s their ship name?? Because that first night, when they’re going uphill, you can hear Baker telling Olson to keep up, and it totally looks like he grabs Olson to steady him or keep him from falling behind. It’s such a sweet moment—and no wonder he goes back for him.
