I've been 30 for a year now. I'm almost 31. Being 30 felt like a trial period of my thirties. I gotta get better years from now on. I have it coming, right?

Some good things have to start happening. 

I want to set the tone for my 30s as a time to relax. I was very, very overworked in my 20s! College and cancer broke me down to pieces. I want to pick those pieces up and weld them together stronger. 

Then in my forties, I'll have all my skills honed, and I'll make amazing art. Everyone I admire artistically is over 40. I want to be where big sis zanna is now. Selling her artwork, working her own hours. 

My thirties, at least the first half of them, are going to be healing and maintenance. Cleaning up the house. Putting things in order. Getting rid of the excess. Light exercise. Healthy diet. By age 35 I want to be able to jog again. I don't need my hair. We'll see if I'm still on chemo at 35. Until then I'm just going to keep shaving it. 

I've been acting like my 40 year old self before I'm ready. One step at a time.

Since being in my thirties...

So far being 30...

I really don’t know how to start this. I have been 30 for just about 2 months now, and so far there have been a lot of moments of self realization. Its like a AHA moment but also a DUH moment.
