Agender L Headcanon
They accept Light simply calling them his partner, but also likes to talk Very Loudly about how much they Love being Light's datemate just because it makes them feel good.
Last night. It had been more than fun. His first real date. L had taken him out to a 4 star restaurant in the city, where they'd humoured him by actually eating some real food before dessert, then to a showing of his favourite movie, before ending the night with a long walk home and a romantic kiss on an empty bridge looking over a large river shining with city lights. On delivering Light home they'd told him that the date wasn't over yet, and they had something planned for him after school today. It had left him with a bubbly feeling in his chest the rest of the night.
(Excerpt paragraph which will be in both stories I'm currently writing)
Smol fanfic thing that I wrote like, forever ago lmao
L was dead. They had died right before everyone just mere moments before. Soichiro had offered to take them to the hospital, but they all knew it was futile. L was dead. A hospital wouldn't save them. And so, Matsuda was terrified. He was terrified for not only his own life, but for the lives of everyone around him. He had managed to calm himself somewhat after L's body had been removed by Soichiro, but he still couldn't calm himself fully. He was curled up on one of the two couches at the headquarters, shaking and hoping with desperation that they'd all be okay. He squeezed his eyes tightly shut and tangled his hands in his soft, black hair. He had only been laying there for a few moments, when he heard footsteps approach. He ignored them at first, until whoever was walking towards him seemed to stop in front of him. He opened one eye to look up. It was Mogi. The man towered over him, looking down at him with an expression of concern on his face. Matsuda's other eye opened as well, and he promptly sat up, correcting his awful posture and straightening out his rumpled clothing. Mogi was neat and proper like everyone else! He couldn't let himself look so disheveled in front of someone like that! But for some reason, Mogi didn't seem upset with him. The man simply sat beside him, and gently placed an arm around the smaller man's shoulder. Matsuda stared for a moment before realizing what Mogi was doing. He leaned into Mogi's side with a sigh, allowing the much larger man to gently wrap his strong arms around him. Mogi was very warm, and it was incredibly comforting. Matsuda-acting on instinct rather than reason-wrapped his arms around Mogi's midsection, affectively cuddling the man. He half expected Mogi to get angry, but was glad when he didn't. Instead, he felt a large hand gently stroking the back of his head, and idly messing with his wavy hair. He sighed once again, and shifted slightly, shifting to sit on Mogi's lap and burying his face in his shoulder. The other didn't seem to mind in the slightest, and actually shifted slightly to accommodate the smaller man. Matsuda's shaking still refused to die down, only increasing when he realized how unprofessional he was being, and that he'd probably be yelled at by Light, Aizawa and Soichiro when they returned. As if he could read the younger's mind, Mogi said, in a soft, gentle voice: "I won't say anything if you won't." Matsuda breathed a heavy sigh of relief, and proceeded to cuddle even more into the much larger, warm man. He couldn't see his face, but he could tell that Mogi was smiling. A moment later, he felt what seemed to be a gentle kiss, placed softly on the top of his head. Matsuda's shaking had stopped, and for the first time since the Kira case had begun, he finally wasn't afraid.
A/N: hey look, it's shitty fanfic! Hurray! Anyway, I hope you guys like this, it was my first fully completed fic (I wrote it forever ago) :)
