many people who are autistic have different views to yours, please don’t think you speak for the whole community. your posts are very aggressive. please stop making the tags such an uncomfortable place to browse.
I never claimed their views weren’t different.
The fact of the matter is that I’ve seen more autistic people than not RESPECTFULLY share their opinion and not get heard. In fact, they get cussed out? Told they’re bad actors? Not to mention, finding out she supported and advocated for Autism Speaks in the past, and by “past” I mean literally a few weeks ago, should raise a few alarms.
Also, I didn’t mean to make it uncomfortable, and I don’t normally tag things the way I do, but tbh, people need to know what Sia is doing and hold her accountable for it. I’m tired of the autistic people being treated like this, and not being heard. I’m tired of people getting a right to speak to us so aggressively and cuss us
Every post I’ve made has been about how autistic people are constantly talked over us? As I said, it’s not just abo about Sia. We aren’t allowed to tell our own stories, the most popular “advocacy” groups don’t include us and one is a hate group, not to mention, we don’t get to speak up in our own events. This isn’t just about Sia, this is about us not being heard in general. I don’t know many people in the autistic community who’d disagree with that?
If you like Sia, and you don’t want to see it, (but somehow you think her attitude towards the autistic community wasn’t aggressive??) please just block me. I’m not going to stop talking about it, because it’ll be a while until I talk about it again. Respectfully telling people our views is not helping.
If it helps, I’ll tag my aggressiveness.

a small poem/song i wrote earlier. slightly inspired by lincoln - st. bernard
one cloudy day i picked up my clothes
put them on and dragged myself to school
i wasnt particularly happy when i got yelled at
usually i'd curl up and cry
when this one kid crossed the line
thank God the counselor was there
because i said i would stab him
when my mother found out she was horrified
but she understood my pain and said,
"if you ever have to hurt someone, please use your fists.
the weight of a life isn't something to bear."
"hate, it turns your heart black and never goes away.
it's one thing to be angry, it's another to fear
and we always fear what we don't know."
i live by the golden rules that line the church basement
watching saint mary grimace in disgust.
the same way i flinched in history class
while hearing about white men fighting wars.
the public will frame it as justice being served
obedient patriotism glowing in their eyes.
as much as i want to scream and shout
the golden rules tell me to stay down.
I hate that I have to bring negativity into this space, but friendly reminder that I absolutely, unequivocally abhore terfs/radfems/gender critical/whatever you call yourself to avoid admitting to being a gender essentialist transphobe.
Don’t fucking interact with my posts until you learn how to be a reasonable and compassionate human being.
EXCLUSIVE: After Deadline this week revealed that Quentin Tarantino pitched a Star Trek film to JJ Abrams and Paramount, the whole thing is moving at warp speed. Tarantino met for hours in a writer…
That rating was crucially important to Tarantino, who hopes to direct this Star Trek and who has helmed R rated films his entire career. Imagine how this could open storytelling lanes, or even what the banter on the bridge of the Starship Enterprise might be, if you conjure up memories of the conversations between Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta in Pulp Fiction, or the banter at the diner between robbers before the heist gone wrong that triggered the action in Reservoir Dogs.
Sorry not sorry, I’m in the camp of “Get your dirty fucking hands off my franchise and take J.J. Abrams with you.”
