Human!reader, a very important part of the resistance, age not yet confirmed, missions always completed, cool headed, ready to bite back when necessary and a kuruless ikran.

Your plan was to grant it mercy and send the bird back to Eywa, after all it was kuruless, a now wild animal even to its creator with no purpose other than to inflict pain, simple as that, but as soon as you took a weapon out a fucking brench fell on it, repeatedly.

You took it as a sign to not kill it. From it's features it was obviously a newborn ikran, with a sigh you walk away, but it follows.

And keeps on following.

Your eye start twitching, that bird was making everything more difficult.

Though, reluctantly, you must admit it was rather adorable and with a striking decision you take it in.

Luckily you had your own house, very small further away from the HC and hidden by the nature.

You took the ikran there, so one would question its appearance.

Every day you fed it, took it on walks like a dog on earth, tried to teach it tricks.. (as hard as it sounds)

Within months it grew, but it was so hella clingy, like a puppy.

It was funny, really, a human and a kuruless creature from Eywa slowly create a bond stronger than pain.

When the na'vi and resistance found out.. well.. questions everywhere, suspicion, fear spiked, but you didn't care.

This was your ikran, your baby. You wouldn't trade her for anything else.
