I am so excited to be sharing this drawing. I've had the idea for this drawing in my head since the day after last Christmas (so December 26th 2024 xD). I was listening to Glory and Gore by Lorde and thinking how it was already a pretty "Once-ler coded" song, but then this image flashed in my mind. I thought the song would be perfect for 2012 and 72 art because 2012 could be the glory (because 2012 Once-ler is not actually very greedy but is very prideful instead, and is mostly the one that started the fandom) and 72 could be the gore (because the 72 version of the Lorax is much darker in feel and 72ler seems more evil in comparison to 2012), and they could literally be holding hands. I was fangirling at my own imagination but didn't have the skills to bring the drawing to live yet.

Until this October! I finally felt ready to draw this! And oh boy this was a hard drawing to make, I worked on it for a week, it must have taken me like 15 hours if I were to guess xD. I drew everything in this artwork except for the Lorax billboard which is from the movie. But I am so proud of this art, it looks just how it did in my mind!

I wanted 12's side of the drawing to look a little brighter and for him to literally be facing a blue sky and trees as if he's still unaware of the damage he's doing. There's news reporters and cameras and money on his side to show the "glory", while 72's side is all dead trees, pollution and darkness to show the destruction of nature and the "gore".

Also I must point out that the 72ler in this drawing is a popular Once-ler OC and askblog! (Link to blog here!! ^w^) I really love this 72 and know that most of the fandom does as well, so I knew he had to be the one in this drawing! <3 I hope I did him justice and I send his mod lots of love!! Thank you for creating this wonderful character! ^w^ (Just wanted to be clear that this is not 72ler's canon design nor my design, this is somebody else's beloved OC!^^) I wanted to link Entre's blog as well (Link here ^^) because even though this wasn't intended to be 1272 ship art, I know this 72ler and Entre were often shipped sooo if you my dear viewer want to view that 12ler as Entre you totally can xD!

I haven't been posting much recently because most of the art I've been making is OC stuff and I was shy about sharing it. But I've been working on these OCs for almost a year now and they're grown to mean so much to me. So I'm deciding it's finally time to share them! I'm starting with my shy and gentle emo boy, Gabriel Brooks.

I also really wanted to mention that my Gabriel's inspired by (and named after) a wonderful OC named One/Gabe @class-cannibal who was created by the lovely and talented Owl @owlapin <3 Thank you Owl for creating and sharing your Space Jam loving, cheeto eating boy, he's such an amazing character and means so much to me and many others and has brought so much joy! ^w^ I send you lots of love! <333

While reading through Swag's old askblogs this summer, (as ya do xD) I discovered he has a hilarious love/hate thing with Kesha. I honestly could totally see Swag loving Kesha as her songs/lyrics are VERY much his sassy swag energy and cheeky sense of humour, but it's more love/HATE which makes it even funnier, (maybe he's a little jealous of her swag or disliked how she used to use autotune xD).

His first post ever is a very Swag-like Kesha lyric (which fills my heart with joy and made me audibly laugh when I found it). I also saw him say his only fear is fanmade Kesha remixes and found a gif of him dancing to Kesha as he called the song "stupid" xD. I can't tell if he loves or hates her so perhaps it's both? Whatever it is, it's funny xD.

Sooo I thought it would be really funny to draw him dressed as Kesha for Halloween! I didn't get the drawing done in time for Halloween, but yesterday (November 21st) was actually the album Animal's 15th anniversary and new songs were released because of that, so it's actually the perfect time! xD

Swag talking about Kesha also single handedly got me back into listening to her music. I hadn't listened to her since I was?? 8 and him talking about her made me nostalgia, so I listened to some of those nostalgia songs again and discovered lots of new ones all thanks to Swag xD.

First Sketch Dump I'm ever doing!!!

Deciding to share a bunch of silly sketches and unfinished drawings I've made since March basically xD. I love seeing other people's sketches and WIPs and I've finally gathered enough randomness for a sketch dump so here we go xD...

first one is some sketches of my beloved Roz from The Wild Robot. I drew these back in April shortly after finishing my Roz painting.

A WIP from March that I've accepted I'll probably never finish at this point xD.

Lesbian/genderbent Swoncest I drew back in June.

Some random WIPs of outfits for Poet. I imagine my boi likes "cottagecore" style xD. Drew this back in May.

A flustered, "gay panic" Mike Wheeler. I don't really consider myself "a byler" (I don't care enough about ST ships to label myself, especially with such a toxic fandom) but I find the Byler ship cute/makes sense for the story writing xD. Also from May.

I have this (completely uncanon) AU in my head, where the Thneedville High AU becomes a college AU and Swag and One share a dorm room. So that's their dorm room (that I'm aware is way bigger than real dorm rooms, lol). I made this back in August when I thought Swag LOVED Kesha, turns out it's more of a love/HATE thing so he may have too many Kesha posters, sorry about that bahahaha. And I just tried guessing at what kind of music and bands One would like. :')

This is Jackie Rabbit, my baker bunny OC who actually started off as a sim xD.

In my sims game she runs a bunny themed bakery, is a max-level spellcaster, and lives in a place called "Bunny Cove" which is basically just a very nature-filled lot with a farm and tiny cottages that her and her other bunnies friends live in. The background is actually a screenshot from her bakery with lots of filters on it xD.

I love her so much that I wanted to basically redesign her in my own art style and basically make her an OC!
