in all seriousness, my thoughts on their dynamic are changing currently. i was fandom-pilled and used to typecast them broadly as zawa the stern/feral one and mic the sweet/gentle guy. then i started rereading canon and uhh. yeahh i do definitely still think that zawa is bad with people in general and mic is very good with them, i just also think someone can be cheerful, loud, broadly well-liked, and still an asshole at their core lol

in that sense, i guess i tend to see zawa as the calmer or more stable one now. like rather than grumpy/cheerful it's more "too tired for emotions"/"feels every emotion all the time forever". they're both extremely overworked and use that to avoid feelings but zawa gets tired and mic gets manic. i think more people should go into how mic emotionally deals with his fans & being famous/his clear focus on being "heard" (calling fans "listeners", literally having a radio station, being so loud even when not using his quirk) in an emotional sense. like. you bottling some stuff up there buddy? you got something in your soul screaming for people to hear it? you want people to break you down and force you to talk about everything weighing on you, kicking and screaming the whole way? yeah that's what i thought

actually i think this is why erasermic doesnt really work for me without izuku in there. like i'll shove them in as background ship bc idk it's cute but if im going into a whole ship it's like. sorry they both need someone who knows when to push and when to step back, and mic is a chronic pusher while zawa is a chronic "well you said it's fine so why are you still mad" kinda guy. just doesnt have the energy/temperament for the kind of mind games mic plays without even realizing it. he's throwing social cues like bowling balls and zawa's standing there like "y'all hear something?" lol i really think they would hate each other's guts after like 6 months of dating

anyways so ig my characterization of zawa is still mostly the same but im changing my thoughts on mic a lot, and actually getting pretty annoyed with myself for not noticing how fandom completely typecast him as the "wife/mom" of the erasermic pairing. which has actually been making it really hard for me to go back and write some of my older aidekumic fics/wips ahsjdk i've been considering marking cat/hero/disaster as abandoned and staring a new aidekumic fic as apology but idk if people would be very happy with that lol

is that enough thoughts? ig i didn't really go into aidekumic specifically. uhh i like em! top five polyamory ships. ok bai o/"

Shouto's lips continue to curl downwards. "Ah, yes. Your workplace burns down due to—" He points to section four. "—'Unrelated accidental criminal activity'. Just another Tuesday, I suppose."

Nemuri was silent for long enough that Hizashi was wondering if the call had dropped, and then she started cackling.  He sighed and slumped down, because he probably deserved this, if he was being totally honest with himself.  "As helpful as this is," Hizashi deadpanned once she showed no signs of stopping anytime soon, "I'd like an answer."

"Is this about you kissing Sho and Izumi?"  Nemuri asked once she'd caught her breath, her voice warm and amused.  "Because one kiss doesn't mean you're in a relationship with them 'Zashi, it just means that you're an affectionate drunk."

"Sure," Hizashi agreed.  He'd never told Nemuri that he was in love with Shouta, and he'd certainly never mentioned the fact that he'd been slowly falling for Shouta's girlfriend either.  "But they both texted me asking if I got home ok."

"That means they're good friends, I do the same thing," Nemuri pointed out, sounding a little puzzled now.  

"Yeah, but you've never called me baby, or in Izumi's case sent a heart emoji too," he pointed out.

Nemuri paused.  "Huh.  Congratulations.  I think you've accidentally entered a polyamorous relationship."

"Now, what do you have to say for yourself, Midoriya?"

Izuku’s eyes widened even more, color draining from his face. He opened his mouth to let out a rush of whatever excuses that came to his mind but found he suddenly couldn't speak.

Well, that wasn't quite right. He was definitely talking but the sound was muffled and could not be heard due to the large hand now covering his mouth.

"Ah ah. Don't want to bring Shouta's attention to your presence now, do you?"

Izuku shook his head as well as he could with the hand still over his mouth.

"That's what I thought. Now, I'm going to remove my hand in a moment and then I'm going to join my husband in the shower."

Izuku’s brain nearly exploded with the casually dropped information.

Aizawa and Present Mic were married?

The older man chuckled as he removed his hand, the sound much lower than he thought the older man was capable of. In fact, everything he'd said since he had caught Izuku had been what must have been a whisper for Present Mic. It was luckily low enough that it wouldn't reach Aizawa.

Right. Aizawa. Unthinkingly, Izuku turned his head to look in the direction of the shower. Aizawa's back was to them and he was currently washing up his body. Izuku’s mouth opened, his tongue playing along his lower lip as he watched the heavy suds caress the older man's body. When his eyes watched one particular clump of suds slip down the line of the other's ass, he blushed.

"Beautiful, hm?"

Izuku nodded before freaking out as he spun back to face Present Mic once more.

"Sir! I didn't mean to perv on your husband! I didn't even know the two of you were married but that totally makes sense since he's such a private hero and you're both teachers and—"

"Bad boy," the older man chastised and Izuku flushed deeply, immediately cowed. He took note of the interest his cock gave at the phrase. It was definitely something to explore later.

Izuku could hear a flirty pout and tried to picture what that would look like on the older man's face. The thought was out of his mind as Aizawa turned and Izuku could once again see his cock. It was mostly flaccid but still looked plenty big, even soft. Izuku felt a rush of envy.

Izuku blushed deeply, holding back an almost squeal. Tiger? He kind of wanted to laugh but it worked for them, somehow.

Izuku’s eyes widened as Aizawa blushed.
