Lucille x Edith's clothing (since she clearly has a distinct sense of fashion herself, I wonder what she thinks of Edith's)

Obviously she hates Edith's clothing. And she hates Edith. So really, all that silly, fluffy modish stuff suits the little chit perfectly. Not a bit of grace or elegance to it at all.

She especially hates the way all that light-colored and/or diaphanous fabric makes Edith look even more like a luminous butterfly that's fluttered into the house by mistake. Something fairylike that can't possibly survive in her world of shadows and secrets and blood. Something that, were Edith actually an insect, were things different, she'd long to keep for herself.

But Edith's not a butterfly, not really. She's a pest. So it hardly matters that Lucille occasionally slips into the master bedroom to run her fingers over the golden silk in the wardrobe, imagining it with the texture of powdery wings.

Chiming in late to say I still love One-ler, always will, and cringe is dead. I cosplayed teen One to Yaoi Con and I made my wife cosplay with me (she was Truffula Flu Swag). I also included him in a paper about... Shakespeare, I think? It was a college lit class, and I got an A, so thank you. There, have a string of words that would haunt the history of a person who gave more of a shit than I do.

I have discovered your rival streamers au and I am in h e a v e n. I think my favorite bit is that aside from normal life stuff, they're all happy. they're happy and they love each other and it's a nice big family and found family is my SHIT. (also Extremely Protective Forzen is probably the best thing ever, big brain momence over here)

Idk if this has been asked before, but is Steven unconsciously but purposefully not growing to be nonthreatening and easily overlooked? Canon!Steven is small because he feels so young, especially in comparison to the Crystal Gems. Even when he has more self-worth he still is aware that he is a child. WD!Steven is much more mature and seems now to view himself less like a child and more like an ancient gem with a very messed up memory, but he is still so petite!

Yep! I think I have talked about it before, yes, but White!Steven is petite for his age because it helped him in foster care. He’s cuter and more child-like because he wants to be - he doesn’t want to take up too much space or get in people’s way. 

I have actually been growing him kinda bigger in some senses since he’s gotten to the Crystal Gems because he’s coming out of his box little by little now. :)
