I can’t even grasp how much money I’ve spent on books for kiddo. All sorts of ones; touch & feel books, board books, Dr Seuss, Robert Munsch, Eric Carle, Sandra Boynton, Ronald Dahl, the classics and then some.

Most recent though? Been buying more books like above; empowering women, books about racism, LGBT, different types of families.

Gotta raise a strong, aware girl in this world we live in.

I actually did start this project last week, but I didn’t post til now (and I’ve already done the B... sort of...) - so: this year I’m going to try to do an illuminated capital every week for my #52in2018 project. I think it’s pretty clear that my gilding needs practice, plus my ... everything else ... 😂😂😂 but to me, that’s one of the greatest things about studying calligraphy - it’s always a journey.
