“What do you mean she lost her job again?” Came the familiar annoyed drawl of the Red King. “And she listed me as a reference?” More annoying chatter from the other end of the phone. He couldn’t help but roll his eyes. Why the hell didn’t she list Izumo instead for this?

“Yeah, I guess you can say that... right, I’ll talk to her. Thank you.” He hung up and felt a low growl rise from his chest. “Yata. Get over here. We need to talk.”

He sighed sleepily, he really wished he had slept the night before but of course he didn’t.  Now he had to get ready for work.  He pushed himself out of bef walking towards his dresser and pulling off random articles of clothing as he did so, so he could get in his work clothes.

Hearing footsteps behind him he just barely looked back, glasses still off and on a nightstand table he squinted to decipher who it was invading his privacy at the moment.  Once he realized he sighed, No, he didn’t care that Misaki saw him nearly naked he never would, though he knew she would.

“It’s rude to stare, you could just tell me I look disgusting like usual and leave now you know?”

“Ha-ha!” The ravenet jeered as he ran off with the redhead in hand. He wasn’t in uniform at the time, but he was one of the monkeys from Scepter 4. He just happened to be caught off duty and caught in the middle of a little chase through downtown. Before he could have the chance to warn the young lady of the incoming assailants, he just threw her over his shoulder and hoped for the best. “Can’t talk! Must run!”
