Trying to figure out which of the two would angst harder: Alan after finding out his new crush used to be wildly in love with the man who 'stole' Wen from him, or Gaipa after finding out his new crush used to be wildly in love with the man who 'stole' Uncle Jim from him. Like, there's strong parallels at work here and an equally strong basis for angst. (Or, like, them being all 'are you just spending time with me so you can run into your (not-)ex?') If there was a season two, that's what I'd focus it on, lmao. (But there won't be and those two just get a happy ending. Which they deserve. I'm just saying.)
