alberto wouldn’t admit it out loud, but there were definitely a lot of things that he didn’t know about the surface world, even though he’d convinced himself that he was absolutely an expert on all things human. there were still things that surprised him, and he tilted his head slightly as he looked down at chilli, moving to bend down into a crouching position, resting his hands on his knees slightly.
“ hah.. funny looking slobbery tail-shaker. ” he noted, his eyebrows lifting upwards. he could have sworn he’d heard some humans call them ‘dogs’ but that was stupid -- that didn’t come close to making any sense or suiting them at all. he grinned slightly, reaching out a hand to lightly prod the dog on the top of her head in a small pat.
