If Descendants characters were apart of the next gen, what do you think their relationships with the other next gen would be (assuming they were the younger siblings of the next gen).
This is finna be a looong one.
Obviously all the siblings love each other, and all the older siblings are protective of the little ones, so I tried not to be too repetitive with the details.
The Mills:
Henry:
He has so many siblings now, oh god
Bobby is slightly more of a handful than he's used to, so he (and Lucy) keep him on his toes
Henry always asks Regina if he was like that as a kid, and her answer is always a smug "Yes"
Bobby likes spending time with Henry's other families (ie, his own and the Swan-Joneses)
Evie's a lot quieter, so he appreciates that
He's very protective of Evie specifically
She could ask him for the moon and the stars, and you know that Henry would find someway to bring them down for her.
Roland:
He knows damn well that Bobby looks up to him a lot, so he tries to put on his best act when he's around
Unfortunately, he is more susceptible to The Eyes than Henry is, so Bobby ends up getting away with waaaaay more stuff with Big Bro Roland
Like Henry, he is also very protective of Evie, and will be the one who teaches her how to kill a man when she's older
Basically, Evie is their little princess, and you don't wanna fuck with her
While Evie doesn't like camping, she will tolerate it when she goes with her father, brothers, and sister.
Robyn:
Robyn's just glad she's not the baby anymore lol
She's the least busy of her siblings, by default of being younger, so she's the one who gets to babysit Bobby and Evie when the adults are busy
She and Bobby like to practice archery and eat dirt together or whatever it is kids do
She's never been very girly, so she and Evie have trouble bonding at times
The Nolans:
Leo:
Leo likes hanging out with little kids, so he never minds babysitting Chad
He's very bossy, however, and seems to be allergic to fun, so Chad doesn't like it when he babysits
Leo can also be kind of preachy about the rules, so Chad will end up getting more lectures from Leo than their parents sometimes
Despite the minor animosity, Leo always wants to be a role model and someone to look up to for Chad
He likes to teach him sword fighting and archery, even when Chad has zero interest or skill for those things
Beck (I can't pick a name for this kid, for now it's Beck):
He and Chad go together like two peas in a pod
Beck's sarcastic outlook paired with Chad's optimism make a fully rounded duo
Beck encourages Chad to commit Crimes, and Chad is the Voice Of Reason
The Hermans/Boyds:
Alex:
Alex is pretty chill with Chloe
Alex feels like a disappointment to their parents, so she is kind of worried that Chloe might be their "replacement"
Chloe basically hero-worships Alex, and dyes her hair blue like how Alex dyes theirs pink
In the future, Chloe ends up being a jock instead of a girly girl, and she and Alex bond over their mother not knowing what to do with either of them
Charlie:
He and Chloe argue (a lot)
Charlie hates sports, and Chloe hates boring nerd junk, so they don't get along
They are the epitome of "only I'M allowed to make fun of my sibling!" If anyone else makes fun of either of them, they get the wrath of the other one
The Briarwoods (Aurora's Family):
PJ:
PJ gets along fine with both Ariana and Audrey
He and Ariana specifically love to banter back and forth, which is hilarious to witness since Ariana wins 99% of the time
He will have tea parties with Audrey and dress up like a princess, and he will slay whichever princess dress she forces on him
Arabella:
The girls aren't actually triplets (Ariana isn't even their sister), but they're so close in age and act so similar, that they're always called triplets
They all love princess stuff, and adore being actual princesses; they all want to move to the Enchanted Forest and have balls
When they get older, they sing a different tune, but stay close
The Swan-Joneses:
Henry:
He has so many siblings now, oh god
Harriett has given Henry a lot of gray hairs; more than Bobby, almost as much as CJ
He likes playing pirate with all of the kids
He always calls Harry 'Killian Jr.'
He's the one who bought CJ her red leather coat, to be more like Emma
He spoils them so much (The Mills kids too, but Regina already spoils them a lot) and always brings them gifts when he visits
Alice:
She loves having such a big family and so many little siblings
She shares her love of books with Harriett, stargazing with Harry, and painting with CJ
She's the sibling that gets sacked with babysitting duty, but she never minds
Hope:
Hope is the "cool" sibling, aka, she lets them get away with more shit than Henry and Alice do
She's part of the reason CJ is Like That
For whatever reason, she's Harry's favorite sibling, which sucks for her, since she's not a fan of little kids
The Golds:
Gideon:
Ben is very quiet, so he'll tag along with Gideon everywhere and no one will even notice
Gideon and Ben have a book club between the two of them
He feels kind of weird that Ben still has that "my dad is the best" attitude, but doesn't have the heart to tell him the whole truth
They tell each other everything, and despite the age difference, are very close
Look, I'm not the biggest fan of season 7 but I am a fan of a couple of the characters. So. Here we are.
This is canon divergent because in this version of adult Henry is main Henry and Lucy is his daughter.
Alice is Hope's twin here.
Robin didn't die. And the descendants characters may or may not exist in this world (I haven't decided yet).
Inspired by @ouatnextgen .
Not every day an independent film director asks if she can use your review on her website.
I'm BEYOND honored =D
So in an earlier post, I mentioned how I started to strike up a conversation with an actor I've realized I've always admired, particularly for one of her most well-known roles: Alexandra Boyd, best known as "Elaine Marley" from the Monkey Island games.
While technically we're not Facebook friends officially, she has graciously let me "pen-pal" with her on Messenger, which is AWESOME. And thanks mainly to her, I've been getting more fascinated with not only a movie she just HAPPENED to have a background role in (James Cameron's Titanic from 1997), but her own indie film that's in limited release online right now: "Ship of Dreams-Titanic Movie Diaries."
Inspired by one of her co-stars from said documentary (and one of her long-time friends who co-hosts the accompanying podcast for the film), I ended up being the FIRST person to leave a review.
Which to Alexandra and her production team, was more than worthy to publish (in part, and slightly edited which is more than fine with me) on the movie's main website.
OMG YOU GUYS THIS IS FOR REAL!!!
And IF you love the '97 movie, you will LOVE the documentary.
All you Monkey Island fans out there, do yourselves this favor and support Alexandra's indie film, she really is a first-class woman ;)
shipofdreamsfilm - Ship of Dreams: Titanic Movie Diaries is a feature documentary by actress-turned-filmmaker, Alexandra Boyd. She revisits

No one asked but I got bored and made the Storybrooke Next Generation gang on picrew.
Top: Hope Swan (daughter of Emma Swan and Killian Jones), Melody Triton (daughter of Princess Ariel and Prince Eric)
Middle: Lucas Nolan (son of Snow White and Prince Charming), Alex Boyd (daughter of Princess Ella and prince Thomas) and Philip Briar (son of Princess Aurora and Prince Philip)
Bottom: Robin Mills (daughter of Zelena Mills and Robin Hood), Gideon French (son of Belle French and Rumpelstiltskin
OUAT Meets The Hunger Games! (With a tiny touch of fan casting because I needed picture for everyone haha!)
Robyn, Henry and Melody aren’t wasting any time! (Though we all know Henry only managed to beat Roland by sneaking up on him or something.)
Melody’s turning out to be quite the little psychopath...
And I bet Robyn’s sponsor was one of the Merry Men XP
And now Grace is being blood thirsty O_O Poor Alexandra.
Meanwhile Gideon’s just a dick! It was a knife fight asshole! Cliff’s are cheating!
Grace’s sponsor was probably papa!
Also, I’m not surprised Hansel failed. We’ve pretty much established that lil Melody is the threat in all this. (Even though I headcanon her to be 12 which makes her the youngest crazy threat in games history! XD)
Ella has no idea how lucky she got...
Meanwhile Weny & Alice and Gretel & Robyn are holding hands... Coincidence? I think not! No, instead Robyn and Alice are using the other girls and pretending they’re holding each others hands because they miss each other and that just breaks my heart!
Hope ya lil stalker! Leave Alice alone!
Doesn’t surprise me it took a sneak attack to bring Melody down XD
Jack you clumsy idiot! Poor Ivy is a victim of bad luck...
Meanwhile someone’s giving Hope a helping hand. (Maybe her papa?)
And NO! Alice and Robyn forced to fight! My poor girls! And you know Robyn held her hand until her final breath!
Hope’s got explosives and she still can’t start a fire.
*Sigh* Oh, Hope.
Sisterly love don’t mean nothing in the games.
And once again, Robyn proves to be ruthless! Three in one! You go girl! (Probably Hope’s explosives too XD)
Meanwhile, poor Gideon had just had enough of it all.
Wait? WHAT?! NO! ROBYN! I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU! YOU WERE SO CLOSE! DAMN IT!
Give me some Robin Mills HC's! Come on! I know you want to!!!
XD You’re right, I want to! Robin is one of my absolute most favorite new characters and I think she deserves more appreciation so here we go:
Had the Golds stayed in Storybrooke, Robin and Gideon would’ve been best friends much to Rumple’s chagrin. Belle and Zelena seemed to be forming some sort of friendship which only grew after they all became one big happy family. That resulted in Gideon and Robin spending a lot of time together and becoming close friends. Imagine all the trouble the son of the Dark One and the daughter of the Wicked Witch could’ve stirred together if they had been given the opportunity.
Before he left Storybrooke, Henry spent a lot of time with Robin. He was a very protective big cousin and was more like a big brother to her. He taught her how to read and write long before she started going to school and always made up the craziest bed time stories to tell her. They used to drink hot cocoa together but Robin liked hers with marshmallows instead of cinnamon.
Regina is partially guilty for Robin’s sweet tooth. She’d cook homemade sweets every time Robin wanted some, resulting in both of them getting scolded by Zelena. By the time Regina went to join Henry, Robin was a fan of home cooked treats and started making them herself. Soon after that she started learning how to put candy on basically every kind of food.
Robin’s favorite hobby was camping in the woods. She always wanted to spend her weekends at the forest, exploring the terrain and learning how to survive in there. Zelena always went with her even though she had no desire to spend time in the woods, but Robin’s enthusiasm was too endearing for her to deny her. Robin abandoned that hobby once she entered high school, though, and started practicing magic instead because that was way cooler than staying in the woods. Zelena was relieved that she didn’t have to spend more time sleeping on the forest floor instead of in a comfortable bed in Regina’s house but she was sad to see Robin give up on what she loved because it wouldn’t make her popular.
The first bracelet Robin made was saved for her mother even though they were fighting at the time, but honestly, when were they not fighting? Robin had just become teenager and fights have been a somewhat regular occurrence. Still, she thought that the first bracelet she ever made had to be for the most special person in her life and that was her mom. It was a green and black bracelet. Of course, since it was her first attempt, it wasn’t perfect, but Zelena loved it so much that she didn’t wear it for fear of losing it. Instead, she kept it safe in her room where she could look at it any time she wanted. Later on, Robin made her more bracelets to go with her various outfits, each and every one of them better than the previous, but none of them could replace that first ugly bracelet that Zelena loved so much.
The second bracelet Robin ever made was for her dad and she left it on his grave. She had nothing from him so she wanted him to have something from her at least.
The third one was for Alexandra (Ella’s daughter) who was her bestie. They were as different as their mothers but they got along really well. Robin liked to tease Alex for her passionate love of shoes, saying that it was very clichéd considering her lineage, and Alex would quip right back at her for her love of the color green. While they sassed each other, Robin was very protective of Alex and if someone said anything bad about Alex’s mother, she would spell them with the worst spell she knew. Alex was also protective over Robin though (since she was a little older) and once got in a fight on Robin’s behalf and won it (she had some fighting skills thanks to her father; meanwhile Robin’s family tends to lean more on magic and that was why Alex decided to take over). Unfortunately, they drifted apart once Robin started trying to develop her magic and started surrounding herself with people who could do magic since Alex wasn’t one of them.
Robin went to Ruby and Dorothy (who came back to Storybrooke to live with Granny (well, not with her, but close to her)) for advice when she had a crush on a girl because she was scared to tell her mom. Surprisingly, Dorothy was the one who encouraged her to go on and tell Zelena because she’d seen how much Zelena loved Robin and was certain that she would understand and accept it. She’d grown up with unsupportive parents and knew that Zelena was not that kind of person. So Robin took her advice and told her mom who of course was totally supportive about it even if she was a bit surprised at first. She even went to say that she was glad Robin wouldn’t have to deal with some playboy. (Also, Robin took the romantic advice of Ruby and Dorothy and it landed her a date.)
Robin being good at acting which I already wrote out in detail. It can be found on my blog (since tumblr is being a dick).
Well, that was fun and a lot easier than I expected it to be!
