some kid: i don't feel so good
me: Mr.Stark i don't feel so good.
1-5-19 // OOF I forgot to post yesterday so you're gonna be getting two posts today!! Anyway here's some hot chocolate, math homework, and more of my cat. This was by far the easiest math homework they've assigned me all year.
today my algebra teacher heard my friend swearing multiple times as he was telling a story, so she goes
“JACOB! THE NEXT TIME I HEAR YOU CUSS YOU ARE GOING TO THE OFFICE!”
so jacob just says “yes ma’am” and starts on the assignment, but this really obnoxious kid sitting behind him began acting immature. jacob has asked the kid several times to be quiet, but he refused. instead, the kid kept getting louder and i could see jacob getting more irritated. then all of a sudden the kid does this weird high pitched noise, so jacob slams his pencil on his desk and says “i’m super sorry about this Mrs. G,” then whirls around and yells
“SHUT THE FUCK UP OWEN!!!!!”
then he gets up, writes himself an office referral and walks out. the teacher just stared at the door and didnt say anything for the rest of class
Just some bits of my class notes.
Storytime!
So I'm in Algebra, right? And we're learning about transformations on graphs. So, as a visual reference, my teacher is using his court summons (jury duty) to show us how reflections work via folding the paper in different ways to represent the reflections
It's almost as crazy as my first day of school where one of my classmates compared the same teacher to a "depressed adult Hiccup from HTTYD", and he (the teacher) was chill with it
Only in virtual school
My Algebra teacher’s students had a habit of losing the hall pass, so he went out and got an ikea plant to make that the pass. He named the plant Bruce, and now we’re oddly attached to a fake plant in this Algebra class.
(he went missing for a day, and it was chaos)
So my kid's math teacher threw a bunch of assignments into the gradebook that not only havent been graded (so they show as an F) but also havent been taught. And for some reason theyre doing the unit review and test today?
Ive been helping him with his math, nothing from math has been in the overdue folder, and yet he's got 3 assignments pushing his gade down to just over 30%.
