Happy anniversary!
genuinely cannot believe how many of my mutuals are not watching alien: earth. like i know alien covenant was terrible (minus michael fassbender as david making out w/ a clone of himself) and alien romulus was a nostalgia circle jerk but alien: earth?? it’s fucking phenomenal. it is by far the best thing to come out of the franchise since aliens. it has absolutely no right to be as good as it is, and yet i’m watching episode after episode just get better and better. there are new kinds of synthetics. there are new species of aliens. there is a tentacle eyeball monster for god’s sake!! it is so goopy and gross and nasty and hot!! AND THERE ARE SEXY PEOPLE IN IT TOO!!
WHITE HAIRED TIMOTHY OLYPHANT AS A SEXY SYNTHETIC!!

Regardless of attachment, they survive the trip but Ellie dies under their care

I just want to remind folks that alien movies stem from xenophobia

A group of treasure hunters, archaeologists, and explorers head out into the desert when they discover clues about the possible location of Alexander the Great’s tomb. However, upon making a breakthrough in the ruins, what they actually discover is an Engineer ship that had crash-landed on Earth centuries ago.
Inside the ruins of the ship, several Xenomorph eggs are found. One of the characters gets too close and…
