Alien species evolve and adapt quicker than humans. This is usually to their benefit, but sometimes it backfires.
An endangered couple can't properly incubate their eggs. Their species has adapted to withstand constant wars and famines. But their bodies aren't capable of carrying eggs full-term.
That's where you come in. You volunteer to help incubate them. Human insides are warm and moist.. perfect conditions for this couple.
The process was long, slightly scary, but successful. After a proper surgical procedure, their eggs are safe in your abdomen.
The couple are constantly checking on your well-being. They want to be there to help with every little problem.
Despite them being the parents and you, a simple incubator, they involve you with every idea and thought. They even liked some of the 'Earth' names you mentioned for their clutch.
While waiting for the proper time of the clutch's arrival, your days are often spent cuddling with the alien couple and enjoying each other's company.
There is something I've been meaning to ask you: do you have a headcanon for what the Kelbrid and the Anati might look and be like?
Something we didn't get a ton of in Animorphs that I'd love to see more: dramatic size differences or dramatic difference in styles of communication. So since the Kelbrid are described as "mysterious," I like to imagine they're sort of like the veleek — both much larger and much smaller than a human, maybe not exactly like the veleek is but in a way that renders communication between the species basically impossible:
Anati have a few more constraints on them, seeing as you can definitely get a yeerk inside of them so they're at minimum a Class 3 species (central brain + some kind of orifice + basic survivability in an andalite-designed environment). We also know the yeerks ultimately lose that segment of the war, so I like the idea that they get underestimated. Maybe they're only just bigger than yeerks themselves but with massive brain-to-body proportions so they're basically all skull with tiny limbs that also excel at predation enough that they can fight off the yeerks:
human accidentally touching their alien s/o's sensitive feeler/antenna and they recoil and human is concerned thinking they hurt them while alien is very embarrassed and trying to hide the fact that the touch was more arousing than painful 😭

So lets talk a bit about Elizabeth Mary Shaw my beloved
- Her mom's name was Mary, that's why she got it as her second name
- She primarely grew up in South Africa, it's one of the reasons why she's a much more spiritual christian than lets say, Oram
- After her fathers death she returned to England, living with an aunt and threw herself into her studies at Oxford (she says that she graduates at an early age in her transmission to Weyland)
- Her father taught her to be kind to Synths, though he was against the concept of humans playing god and creating them - it isn't the Synths fault that they were made, after all
- She can draw quite well because of her being an archeologist and all
- She met Charlie on one of her excavations, and while she was immediately charmed, she played a little hard to get. She was a bit afraid of another relationship, her expartner dropped her after she told him that she couldn't have children... But Charlie really put his all in wooing her, not ashamed to play the fool and even doing things like singing to her, picking some wildflowers. She couldn't help but fall.
- While yes, they fight, they never go to bed without telling each other that they love them. Elizabeth implemented that rule because of her parents early deaths - you never know
- She's fluent in multiple languages like Afrikaans and Hebrew
- She may not seem like it, but this woman dances. Not your typical disco dance, no, she spent years in Africa, she really puts her whole soul into there
- Oram in Covenant is the Anti-Elizabeth
- While she struggled with her faith for some time after Prometheus, she never really lost it and even forgave David, being truly compassionate

Headcanon: While Miraluka are more or less aware of everything in their surroundings, they can 'focus' on certain things or people. And given the nature of their sight, powerful Force-sensitive people can feel their 'gaze'.
Just like how sighted people can look at a landscape in general, or look specifically at a single tree in that landscape, so can Miraluka focus their Force-sight so that they're 'looking' at a certain thing while still being aware of their surroundings.
Since this is a Force ability, most people can't feel that focus if it is turned on them, but those with a deep connection to the Force (and other Miraluka) can. The feeling varies by individual, but most often a Miraluka's gaze feels like a faint tingling over the skin or a slight weight. This feeling can also change based on the emotion of the Miraluka, like that tingling turning into a slight stinging if they're angry and not controlling themselves.

✨Went through intensive physiotherapy when his legs got rebuilt for him. He had a lot of help from Hicks who felt partially responsible for what happened to Bishop and not being there to protect him, Ripley and Newt.
✨Spends a lot of time on earth (after the events of Aliens) birdwatching and specimen collecting. He finds nature fascinating, and wants to learn everything he can about the natural world.
✨Bishop likes cooking for Newt when Ripley and Hicks are busy working, or out of the house. Newt will help him prepare meals, and he’ll handle anything heated. Bishop really enjoys seeing Newt’s satisfied face when she digs into a meal.
✨He also enjoys cooking with everyone else. It’s a familial bonding experience for him, where everyone pitches in and there is much laughter, wine and great conversation.
✨Wants to take a backpacking journey across earth, seeing all the different countries that he hasn't gotten a chance to visit.
✨Bishop hasn't seen much of earth since he has spent most of his life-span in space working with the colonial marines.
✨Really wants to visit rural Japan. He saw a picture of it once in a brochure when he was working with the marines. It belonged to Frost, who expressed wanting to go when they finally got some leave. Bishop wanted to celebrate Frost’s memory by visiting himself.

So on Betazed, if you even THINK about hurting someone, everyone within a 100 mile radius is instantly aware of what you’re going to do, and is also aware of each other’s awareness! Theres nowhere to hide your intentions, dishonesty just wouldn’t be possible. It’s got to be almost impossible to pull off acts of cruelty on Betazed and I just find it kind of interesting and cool.
[edit] I just want to make it clear also that I’m referring specifically to malicious intent, not just passing thoughts or images (I’m reminded of intrusive thoughts, or just any negative thoughts in general). All sexes have at least one set of genitalia. Dicks, or the Galra equivalent, are sheathed. Vaginas aren’t. In Trasis, who have both sets of genitals, the vagina is where the anus would be.
After puberty, while still an adolescent, Trasis and Chisis experience a ‘heat’ once every quarter. This continues until they are too old to reproduce

Symptoms: fever, increased libido, cravings, moodiness, nesting, sweating, a lot more physically affectionate
Heat is the optimal time for conception, when the body is at its most ready state for child bearing. It is not the only time to conceive, but there is only a 3% chance.

Galra gained extremely large lifespans after Daibazal was destroyed. They can live up to five times the average human lifespan, making them one of the longest living species.

Strength: they lift up to 6 times their body weight
They are surprisingly lighter than they should be. 6 times their body weight is only 3 times the average human weight
Speed: can get up to 90 kph, but average speed is 30

Example: A 6’7 human should weigh between 190-240 lbs. A 6’7 Galra would weigh about 120 lbs.

Their blood runs at low temperatures, so they use the heat around them to warm them up
All joints are double-jointed and their bones/muscles are very bendy, making them extremely flexible. Like contortionists
Galra see better in low/dim lighting. In bright/direct light, they squint. If they have pupils, they contract almost like cats
Galra are light sleepers and only need between 45 minutes to 4 hours of sleep to be well-rested
