aww omg! i appreciate your interest in my babies. i actually covered some of the more major aspects of their relationship here and here. nevertheless, i will drop a few/random facts i have on them below:
they are the epitome of star-crossed lovers. they grow to love each other immensely but for many external reasons, cannot seem to be together in the long run. these two give romeo and juliet a run for their money ok
while i like to call them a slow burn due to how long it took for them to act upon their feelings for one another (and because of vivienne’s childhood crush on jaegor), their love was a flame that was forced to burn out quickly. although they don’t get together as quickly as perhaps one would hope, their relationship progresses speedily.
while rhaerion is by far jaegor’s biggest rival for vivienne’s hand, he was not the only one vying for her affections at the time as she was considered the most comely young woman of her time (and even in all of history to some). in fact, it was rumored
jaegor and vivienne are each other’s first and only true love
the odds were never in the favor of their union (it just took them a while to realize it)
if you think that i based their characters off of the one’s their respective fcs played in medici then you would be 1000% correct lol
even though these two do go official at some point, it is quite short lived (mainly thanks to rhaerion’s ass)
they were both originally meant to be killed for ‘treason’ early on but i opted out of it
while i have played around with the ages and timeline a lot, i have settled with the fact that jaegor is in his late teens to early twenties when he is first introduced whereas vivienne is somewhere between ten and fourteen
they are my most fleshed out hotd oc relationship thus far
