27. What’s your favorite book? Or just one you’ve read a few times?

I have quite a few favorite books but I really love Little Women. I’m rereading it right now! It’s a big comfort to me >:)

Top 5 underrated/little known movies you wish more people knew about?

sorry this took me so long to answer, i'm not sure when you sent it but i know it was a long time ago.

5 underrated (at least, in my opinion) films i wish more people knew about would have to be:

five fingers for marseilles (2017) - a south african western and honestly, one of the best films i think i have ever seen!!! so, i'm just going to say outright PLEASE WATCH IT!!!

beans (2020) - a canadian coming of age film about an indigenous teenage girl during the 1990 oka crisis. imo, has to be one of the best coming of age films i have seen.

sparkles (2021) - an australian short film about a young woman with down syndrome and an indigenous drag queen who team up together. it's such a wholesome film :)))

the piper (2015) - a south korean take on the pied piper story. and i mean... south korean cinema + horror + folklore + period drama what's not to love?!

nafi's father (2019) - a senegalese film about two brothers, both imams and impact on the community, their family and lives when one of the brothers, who has associations with extremism decides to run for mayor of the other ones town. not gonna lie, this film left me shook. it was incredible but doesn't seem to actually be known or even heard of.

pili (2017) - a tanzanian film about a young mother of 2 who has hiv and her struggle to get the money she needs to set up her business along with trying to keep the fact she has hiv a secret from those around her. it's a remarkable film.

sijou (2021) - an indian period drama film about a young boy and his father who become victims of the feudal land tenure system. very brutal and very powerful to watch.

okay, that was more than 5 but i couldn't leave them out. there are so many more films i wish more people knew about but these are probably the main ones for now :)

11, 17, and 22? 👀

11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

a lot of people do not like mcu!peter parker which I really get. However I still think Tom Holland has done a good job with the material he’s been given. He’s also pretty new to the MCU in general (first introduced in 2016) so I don’t agree with how people write off his character, I think there’s plenty room where he can grow.

Also Nancy Wheeler. I love ST but am not active in the fandom however to my understanding people tend to not like Nancy? She’s amazing and one of my absolute favorites so I just can’t relate to that AT ALL.

17. Instead of XYZ happening, I would have made ABC happen…

Instead of waiting until she was dead to give Natasha her own movie, they should have done a trilogy of black widow movies. In addition I would want them to have buckynat because its what we deserved. (This is insanely long, my apologies)

The first one released early in Phase 1 of the MCU, around the time the first thor movie was released but after iron man 2. The first movie would explore her origins — her youth and time in the red room.

The second would be in phase 2 of the MCU but after the winter soldier. This would take place when she is older and is ‘graduating’ from the red room and is being trained by the winter soldier aka James Buchanan Barnes my beloved. Like in the comics, she is younger and impressionable at this time in her life, being brainwashed by the Red Room. This movie would be about her and Bucky’s relationship and everything that happened in the comics (he trains her, they go on missions together, they fall in love, she is promised to alexei and eventually the red room finds out what they were doing and punish bucky, freezing him) so basically the tragic end of their relationship at that point in time in the comics.

After the second movie there would be interactions between natasha and bucky. When Natasha is explaining to Steve how the winter soldier almost killed her she would explain that it was the winter soldier that trained her in the red room but she still doesn’t really trust Steve, so she leaves things out. But the viewers know about their relationship from the previous movie.

Sam Steve AND Natasha go looking for Bucky at the end of tws. As a result Sam and Natasha would form a closer friendship in the MCU

And lastly would be the final black widow movie where I think the Black Widow movie that came out this summer should have been the last film of the trilogy.

I may have gone slightly insane over this

22. Popular character you hate?

MCU!Wanda Maximoff. Just no. Not even a little. Also wtf even was wandavision. Girl no. Did i say not even a little. And MCU!Pietro Maximoff. ATJ is not worth the whitewashing. And I’ll say it again.

Comic Wanda Maximoff on the other hand? The best. I love her. Would do ANYTHING for her.
