Cable points out how kinda messed up all this is. He knows Aliya never traveled in time before, but here she is, and yet he isn't supposed to tell her anything or change anything, despite things very obviously having already changed? Regardless of all that, he goes with her back to the future.

Ok... so Aliya is able to realize this is the old version of her husband, and she very much wants to know what made him look so haggard, but he can't just say "oh yeah, you die and Tyler goes evil" now, can he? Kinda messes up the whole timeline.
