I love Medieval fairs so much. There’s one arranged annually and I’ve gone there every summer for the past three years. My lovely ootd featured my new amazing corset-ish belt and works from three different blacksmiths. My friend said I’m starting to look like a blascksmith’s mistress and that is A Look I don’t mind having. I won a bookmark from a raffle thing, and bought a hair needle and a pretty spoon (both handmade and gorgeous). I also got an anniversary gift for my darling but obvs I won’t share it here bc it’d ruin the surprise. After buying some food I was all out of money so that’s my full loot. Me and my friends @metsaehiisi and @lime-cupcake saw some awesome performances and had a lovely time ^^ Thanks for the company boos ♥
...and thank all the pagan gods for the topless..tattooed..bearded...kilt-wearing...dirty...blacksmiths... Who gave me a discount when I told I buy their stuff every time the fair takes place. Seriously I could gush about those guys all day. After I bought the spoon the guy who’d been talking to me and sold it thanked me for the purchase. I thanked them for coming over every year and he did the most hilarious bashful “Awwh you say that to everyone”+wrist flick act. Save my little queer heart.

Langes messer. Finally finished this piece.. Slightly recurved messer sword, forge from Spring steel, hardened and sharpened. Handle is made from walnut tree, with grove for better grip and brass tube pins. I will be adding this to my Etsy Shop soon. Steel shafted cavalry war hammer. This kind of war hammer was mainly used on horsepack. Shaft needed to be made from steel, because the wooden shaft didnt endure as Well when striked In high speed. The hammer itself inflicted massive damage when swinged down on poor footmen, penetrading helmets with ease. Hammer head is forged from high carbon steel, shaft forged to a octagon bar from mild steel. Handle is wooden core, wrapped with leather for better grip. Guard plates are decoraded with copper rivets.
