Jen Calonita's and Mari Mancusi's "Polar Nights" The variant cover is fanmade (by HAEA1222 on X), the funny edit above was made by DisneyQueenElsa on Instagram.

This is the original edit by HAEA1222, which i find much better than the original. Was it once even planned in the original cover that way and then they decided to keep the sisters standing apart? When you flip the image of Anna in the final version and move it to her sister, she easily can hold her hand, without much editing. I love it.

Kamilla Benko's Forest of Shadows. In my opinion the first cover is much better because you don't see immediately the hidden Nattmara in the woods, only on a second or a third view. Do you see the eyes of the wolf besides the sisters? They're built by branches.

The Frozen Anthology, edited by Heather Knowles and Mari Mancusi, has only one book cover so far, the picture on the right only was preliminary (pls see my post before, where i've shown the original used for other merchandise).

I couldn't find any other book covers for Jen Calonita's "Lost Legends - The Fixer Upper"

There's even a whole book series about one topic: The Northern Lights. Lego even made a little movie series about this story.

That's it for now and i hope i haven't missed one of the novels. Let's hope we'll get a bunch of new books for the sequels, Frozen III and IV.

~ The AU ~

Zayne's nightmares (without him knowing) are about his past lives. In every life he lives, he has the same experience- born with the spirit of Ice within him, he must seek out his Destined One in order to be able to control his power. He starts hearing the song above every night- a song, weirdly enough, that his childhood friend (MC) had sang a lot as a kid. One day, he's walking along the beach when he hears the voice again- confused, he searches for the source only to find MC, all grown up, after so many years. Still singing that song. He comes to her with his issue, and she tells him she's a lemurian- and the song was a lemurian legend about *insert all the stuff I highlighted in blue*. Sick and tired of all this insomnia bs, Zayne decides to go on a quest to find the "Destined One" of the river- only weirdly enough, he sleeps perfectly fine when MC is around...

KJEKK OR HAVSKI?

Anna's beautiful grey-white Fjord horse first appeared unamed in F1:

We learned in the book A Frozen Heart that he was a male named Kjekk, which means "handsome" in Norwegian. And handsome he is!

According to Dangerous Secrets, Iduna bought him from a farmer. Here's how the scene goes:

And here's where the line is starting to blurr. The farmer says the horse name is Havski, which also means "handsome", but in Northern Sàmi this time! And then Iduna switches to Norwegian and calls him Kjekk. We could assume she preferred to go with a shorter name so she renamed him in the scene. Except that the name Havski reappears in later books: Forest of Shadows, Polar Nights and All is Found, in which Kjekk/Havski is described as being Anna’s childhood horse.

We know the Northuldra tribe, from which Iduna comes from, is based on the Sàmi people. Arendelle on the other hand is either Norway or a part of it.

What if the farmer had Northuldran connections and subtly wanted to convey it to Iduna, to show her she's not alone, like he suspected she wasn't Arendellian? After all he knows the meaning of "Havski". But Iduna gives the horse a Norwegian name instead, maybe because she doesn't want to raise suspicions about her origins? It can't be a coincidence for the 2 names of the horse to have the same meaning.

So here's my guess: Iduna must have shared the two names with her daughter and Anna either called him Kjekk or Havski ever since. The fact that the 2 names appear in Dangerous Secrets make them both canon for me. It's not such a stretch for a horse to have 2 different names - happens also in real life depending on the owners.

So, are you team Kjekk or team Havski?

"Welcome to Rosas" took inspo from the wrong opening songs

"Wish" is an exhausting topic, but this is not the last time I'm gonna talk about it! I don't remember all the influences the song was said to take influence from, but "Welcome to Rosas" seemed to embody the more upbeat Disney openings, songs that embraced community and how the protagonist fit into it, such as...

However, I think Disney should've went in a different direction, going for a worldbuilding song that was epic and mysterious, dramatic and foreboding, just as much haunting as it was enticing, such as...

(Just now realizing we haven't gotten many epic opening songs for the musicals that fit the criteria lately.)

As an amateur songwriter, I know how hard it can be to write an opening song, but WTR just didn't work, neither in production, lyrics, or entertainment.
