STORY THAT I’LL PROBABLY NEVER WRITE: WHEN THE DARKNESS UNLEASH (FT PHILIPPA PEPPER DELANEY-COOPER)
A Southsider and a Northsider together, unbelievable, and yet, Pepper was the living proof that they could eventually get along. At least, for an amount of time. Born and raised in Riverdale, alternerning between the South and the North, Pepper became this kind and optimistic but yet, insolente and wild teenager of the Riverdale High School. Pepper truly enjoyed her life, spending time with her friends either Serpents, either Northsiders, painting, even study and about one hundred other things. Teenager things mainly. It wasn’t easy as Pepper was either see as the Serpent girl at Riverdale High for some or as the perfect Northsiders for some Serpents. But she didn’t care.
Until the 4th July. In fact, Jason’s death didn’t really shake Pepper. Of course, it was sad, because was young and the son of one of the wealthiest family of Riverdale. And it was the only reasons since Pepper barely apprecied Jason, knowing how much he hurted Polly, her cousin. But when Jason’s body was found, revaling that he didn’t drowned but was shot, it’s when her life became messier. It’s when she understood that her father might be involved. So Pepper decided to join Betty and Jughead in their investigation, hoping that her father (and Serpents too) wasn’t involved.
More than never, Pepper will have to choose where her loyalty lies and as the investigation go on, the darkest secret of her town will be discovered. For better or for worse, especially the worst.
