Less independent than Alphas, but still capable of thinking for themselves. More open to leadership from an outside source.

CT's: (low content wolfdogs, basically huskies, malamutes, and german shepherds)

Need leadership. Have to be cared for. Good boys. Best boys honestly.

Wolffe and Fox: (high content wolfdogs)

Mostly good boys. Very high bite instinct, though. Will chomp. No one knows why they're the way they are. Independent from outside sources (inwardly), and very loyal to their pack (outwardly).

I think 99’s opinion is the most trusted among the troopers.

When new admirals and Nat-borns get assigned they have to go through Kamino before being picked up so 99 gets a chance to meet most of them.

He’ll pass on his opinions to the respective commanding officers and he’s never been wrong about someone yet.

Whenever any of the Commanders are meeting a new Admiral, they’ll call up 99 for his opinion.

The Alphas especially respect his opinion as it kept them out of trouble many times

5 + 1 Fic Friday Roundup: Galaxy's Longest Naps

Since we've got a New Year coming up soon, have some fics where a character (or characters) woke up to the future. Which they mostly manage by being frozen Winter Solider style for years and years.

Alpha class clones being like 7-10 feet tall is amazing and I love the fuck outta it, but consider: all of them like carrying their brothers around like children. Fully grown clone giving sass? Nap time, make an alpha drag them off for sleepies. Brothers fighting in the hallway? Naughty clones get the calm down hug. Just give me alphas picking up their dumb baby brothers for cuddles.

The creche rules

All initiates must follow their creche master during their waking time

We already told them but 3 times out of 5 they ignore this, it had been alright and actually cute at first when they just sauntered in and let the kids climb all over them, but they need to come while the initiates aren't in their lessons.

Why do I ask you this?? Because they listen to you

back to the alpha clones i hold a headcanon that these guys were tall and i’m not talking CC and CT clone heights (which was around 6”/1.83cm but some went taller and personally i think the CCs were taller and buffer anyway *stares at all the buff fox fanart*) I’m talking these guys could get to 7” and were buff as fuck. (think Thorkell from Vinland Saga)

the war wouldn’t have lasted if they let the alphas loose and palpatine bloody knew it

i also like the headcanon (and im ignoring canon for this) that the alphas don’t have the same genetic loyalty and listen to authorities like the CCs and CTs so thats also why they weren’t allowed in the clone wars for long. too many picked fights (and won) with Jedi who weren’t kind to clones. they probably wouldve gone for senators and palpatine himself if under the right circumstances

I absolutely ship Alpha class clones x Obi-Wan, though I ship him with 17 and Fordo in particular because we've actually seen them interact!

We know the most about 17 because of his appearances in the comics, and I love how gruff and rude he is in comparison to other clones. It makes for an interesting dynamic between him and Obi-Wan! I also love the potential dynamic between him and Cody, and the role reversal of Cody no longer being the big brother, but in fact the little brother and 17 being able to bring out that side of him.

I also held this poll(?) thing a while back, which got me some interesting responses regarding how folks visualize Alpha class clones! It's made me conclude that if I were to draw them, I'm justified in just making them Huge haha!

Anyway, I'd love to draw 17 and Fordo in the future!
