for tonight’s watermech thoughts…post-canon robert actually going to therapy, starts going to AA meetings, and one night he sees herman there, trying to blend in (and failing miserably, but he’s going to an anonymous meeting for a reason). robert doesn’t immediately approach him, not wanting to scare him off, but he keeps seeing waterboy there and eventually can’t help himself and has to bring it up…angst and hurt/comfort and two guys with different struggles communicating trying to tell the other how much they mean to them? do you see the vision
