So.... i finally clean up those designs! so proud of them!

The one on the far left has mesh on them, Flambae, Coupe, n Royd had ACTUALLY test them! it's fire-proof, knife-proof to some degree, Mal add some protection charm on it, some in-built kevlar in the torso, and surprisingly breathable. Legit! Chase and Mandy pull some strings to get the materials. (They wanted the torso to be open, that's where Royd put his foot down lol. on the back tho 👀)

The M shape is actually phoenix wings btw. And the visor is a bit knock back to Track Star's mask.

Robert is actually chill about it, to the team's surprise. (He end up covering them up with his armor (far right) and jacket (still WIP) anyway lol)

Note: No more white chest plate, it screams a huge "attack here"

On the cool side, forgo his typical Mecha Man mask, Rob just need to slip in some leather jacket and he completely pass as a villain (they tried villain-bar hopping and it works! I'll render that vision later)

The one in the middle is a "gift" from SDN.... they took a complete 180 from Z-team and add lots of white for "cleaner" look. It's kinda suuuuper tight though and the mask they designed cover nothing. (and kinda looks similar to BB and Phen's design??) It looks a bit better after Royd adds some leg and arm brace.

Ever since Royd made that armor (on far right it's armor + classic suit), Rob keeps it inside the mech and kinda tends to just put it on anything he currently wear in emergencies. It could be put over anything that's not Rob and Royd's mechanic safety suits.

(Royd still remake the old suit design with new stronger materials ofc. but at least now Rob has spare suits, so he could wash them. Maybe when Z-team got more budget they would get their options too. I imagine someone like Blonde Blazer has an ENTIRE WARDROBE for diff. events since she's their beloved poster girl right. I'll render it later)

Courtney -> Queer maybe Pansexual, High-Libido

she's not the type to organize anything lol, including her sexual orientation and shit, but nothing bout her is straight obv.

Court and Rob are more bestie-coded, queer-platonic in my book. I mean she's still into him, so she won't say no if there's a threesome or orgy invites! (If Rob allows) Got a lot to process when it comes to her guilt and Rob's boundaries.

She has a thing going on with Mal, Victor, and Alice, only casual, no strings attached, things.

Mandy -> Lesbian, Demisexual

[She/Her They/Them] I thought it's canon cuz the gameplay keep refering to Coupe as they/them sometimes (then i realize it's cuz they don't want to change dialog if you pick Sonar). Not really interested in romantic stuff outside of Colm and her novels.

Jan puts no title in her relationships. but Her and Rob is similar to the forbidden romance between a prince and his bodyguard, or a knight and the assassin that failed killing him. There is sexual attraction turned obsession and loyalty, softened with their shared childhood life.

He only noticed Rob because Jan noticed him first. But damn.. he got pulled into Rob's sheer support on them so easily. And how could ye NOT care for the lad when his eyes just begging to be pampered and cared for (colm pov.) Plus, the way he defended his team (and Jan) and fight at the bar?

like far in the future some nosy reporter ask Robert about the ring(s) in his finger(s) and he be 'oh yeah, got some polycule going on (context: he said that on April 1st) so the fandom will never get their answer lol.

Also, Important: if asked, NOBODY on Z-team wants to date Mecha Man (they want their scrawny ass dispatcher with a funny name not the suit.) Some of them are apalled at the allegation that MM Blue is dating any of them (*cough* flambae *cough*)

I'll end this with a fun idea; the z-team distracting reporters from you. Like just a reporter finding you outside and the whole z-team jumps in to talk to the reporter instead while one other will walk you somewhere more privet. They're worried about them overwhelming you and taking anything you say or do out of context, we've all seen shitty reports in super hero movies do that, so it makes sense that they would try to single out the neurodivergent SDN worker.
