shout out to my in sys son gourdy (age 10) and daughter toodles (age 7), they are just the cutest.. today gourdy said the F word and toodles immediately told him no, bad word. it melted my heart. they are so cute and probably the closest i’ll ever get to having real children since we sure as heck aren’t mentally equipped to raise kids

i want to mention my in sys partner’s daughters, Addie (age 13) and Marely (age 3) too. love you all even if marely can’t read this and addie probably won’t front to see it. though i still can’t figure out how you manage to hang out in the fronting room without actually fronting.. is this a special little talent?

Our friends and like my whole system overall.

Im so grateful for my friends adjusting their language for us while still treating us the same and joking about it but also being able to do real talk.

Im so grateful for our traumaholders and their strenght, Im so grateful for our littles being themselves, Im so grateful for all alters that deal with my outbursts. Im grateful for every moment of calm and content and solidarity we have – even if its rare.

Not specific to our sys, but shout out to littles with "big" roles!!! Roles like protector (any kind) or trauma holder or gatekeeper, or anything else "big"!!! You're all doing so great, and I'm proud of you for being able to manage :)
