M45 Pleiades (Luminescence)
Also known as The Seven Sisters, Pleiades is on open star cluster that is easily visible by eye in the night sky. This image captures 2 of the main stars on Pleiades, the one at the top of the image with the three bright stars beneath it is Alycone. Alycone is a B5IIIe (a Blue Giant) star with a surface temperature around 12258K. It is approximately 3.5 Solar masses and has a radius approximately 8 times that of our Sun. The other star located with this cluster is towards the bottom left and is called Merope. Merope is a B6IVe (a Blue Sub-Giant) with a temperature around 10395K and a radius 4.71 times that of the Sun.
The image was taken using iTelescope T7 located in Spain, it is a 300s luminescence exposure.
