i absolutely hated it, i'm really surprised it hasn't been more divisive. from a technical standpoint i can see the appeal but that's literally it, the story and characters are vile

my exact thoughts ! the purpose and message of this film are just so horrible and i don’t understand why people are eating it up so much

I literally had a whole discussion about this last night oh my god. I want that thing that Marceline can do to take other people and creature’s powers but if that’s not a thing, teleportation and telekinesis.

Oh my gosh yes so I said some of this already but I loved working with you at camp and on Love Me. Your scripts feel so real and natural and I love being a part of them. You’re a really great film maker and really great to work with. You’re nice and easy to talk to so you made me feel so comfortable working on both of your films and on Miles’ lumiere which is really important for me as an actress and I think a lot of other people. I think your comforting presence on set will make you a really succesful film maker in the future.

We didn’t talk as much as I wish we had at camp because there wasn’t enough time to spend with filmmakers other than when working on the films but we’ll definitely have to hang out more when I get back to LA in January!

I was so happy when I found your tumblr and found out we agree on a lot of things and I really respect you as a person.
