No, that's Naoto. Akira has actual abs even though he might look like a stick bug.

. . . Ammy standing in the corner rn.
"Whoa, you're huge! Cute too!" Hopefully, it won't bite him when he comes closer with some leftover beef. Maybe it's not hungry, but still...
"Uh, hi! I'm Yosuke Hanamura."
Starter for @ama-tcra-su!
Hm. Where next?
The detective had asked for a few days on their last excursion, and he was more than happy to oblige. They needed time to go through all the information they had anyways, and to wait for new leads. This artifact Opal had requested his help with was turning out to be...trickier, than he hoped.
Still, at least he didn't have to worry much about anything. She'd financed the trip through her boss, setting him up as some kind of 'consultant'. Home was literally a hop, skip, and a jump away too, should he need to return for anything. His bag had most of his supplies, but there were a few things he could see himself going back for, should he need to, and as long as he was near a ley-line, he could easily find his way back and forth.
For now, he focused on the task at hand; he needed to check out at least a few places to at least narrow things down (and not put the detective in such needless danger again). Rural Japan was a bit harder to navigate since they didn't accommodate as much for English-speaking visitors on the signage, but he had maps and translators saved on his phone so he wouldn't need the internet to find them, and plenty of battery. It would be serviceable until he saw the detective next.
The next place he wanted to check was near the mountains-- it was a small spring near the base. It'd be a long walk though, without any roads for vehicles. He didn't mind, though the isolation of being so far from quick transport did leave him on edge, given last time. But still, he went.
The spring itself was beautiful, as was the town built around it. There was an unsettling feeling in the air the closer he got to the base of the mountain and the source of the waters themself, but there was nothing truly malignant about the place, either. As far as his senses seemed able to pick up, it was a tranquil place, but one laced in power. A held breath-- that was the best way to describe it.
Still, no sign of that special amulet artifact thing. He wasn't surprised; given the impulsive decision to venture here, if it had been a success he would've been floored. His luck just didn't work that way.
But at least he'd get to enjoy one thing from the trip. It was the perfect place for a break, before the long trek back to heavier civilization. It was serene, and there was a sweet scent in the air. The running water too, was a comforting sound, in a place that was-- kind of overwhelmingly not like home.
He found a space in the grass, and took out a water bottle from his bag. The sun was warm and the breeze was soft. He allowed himself a soft hum as he soaked it in. He'd head out in a few, then check another place. But just for a moment, it was nice to breathe and-- be a person, almost.
@ama-tcra-su liked for a Marja starter
The huldra was covered brown, dry patches of dirt with twigs and branches in her now tangled, long hair. Her gown torn in various places to let her tail be free, now that she had no reason to hide her forest spirit nature. She needed to eventually find a river or lake to clean herself off, but at the moment it seem to be far her mind. Her eyes was focused as she followed the scent that was flooding her mind. She knew for a fact her seedling had to be in this area before, but she saw no visible traces. That worried her.
Following the scent trail lead her to a area of the wilds that felt a bit more secluded. This felt like a nesting area, from she caught sight of large wolf with striking crimson markings that struck with a strange feeling straight to her nerves; Just like those two foxes from the forest her son was born from; grand and divine. That made her filled with anxiousness, but she did not have time to dawdle and twist her tail.
Forming a red blossom from her hands and whispered a message to be heard before letting it go to fly toward the wolf. 'Pardon me, I am a traveler of this area. I am seeking another, may ask if you seen a small child?'
She did not want to be rude or careless and run straight over and possibly bother a being like herself. Slowly walking her way over to close the distance before herself and the remarkable, striking wolf; her eyes traveling to each marking unconsciously.
The air is leaden with the scent of decay. The fumes only grow stronger the further she treads upon slick and blackened vegetation, past half-eaten creatures consumed by rot that supersedes the actual time it takes for decomposition. This land was desecrated by some incomprehensible force beyond what Roxanne could imagine, and frankly, she is rightfully apprehensive about following the path of destruction further, out of fear of what she will inevitably have to face.
Before deigning to take another step, her hand instantly finds its way to her earpiece to call for backup. Amidst the static crackle of waves stretching across the land, Roxanne still keeps her ears trained through the deafening silence of the once-thriving woods. Part of her hopes that she will at least hear a breath being taken, but there is a chance that she might also find something lurking nearby.
While awaiting somebody to pick up, she catches wind of something panting, heaving breaths beneath strained ribs. A soft frown crosses her features when she pushes aside caution for a moment to follow the sound. Whatever is in the air is pulling the godling towards its source like some magnetic north, is certainly making the ichor in her veins sing and run hot.
The recognition of this reaction nearly prompts her to stop until she suddenly finds a growing patch of moss and clovers. Just at the toe of her boot, the thin carpet of green starts to stretch around her, trying to valiantly reclaim what was lost. The promising sight is enough to spur her forward again, albeit with light steps as to not undermine the work of whatever forest guardian / deity / spirit might be out there.
In the end, she doesn't take long to find the creature lying on its side, gasping for air. Surrounding it, a thickening blanket of blooming red and white clovers. The snow-white fur is enough to inform Roxanne of its celestial nature, along with its carmine-red markings adorning its body. But those details are rendered mundane in comparison to the molten hot ichor slipping out of the wolf's flesh from grievous wounds. This is enough to reignite the onslaught of gold threatening to overtake red ⏤ a recognition of divinity on this mortal plane. Regardless, there are urgent matters to attend to.
Roxanne keeps her movements slow and steady, inching a little closer to the wounded she-wolf.
❝Hey,❞ she murmured softly, approaching as she would with any other animal ( mortal or immortal ), ❝You're not gonna die here.❞
This she felt sure of.

@ama-tcra-su sent: // what is one of your biggest gripes involving the MHS2 writing?
Now MHS2 has a lot of issues in its plot, most of them minor, from your usually contrived plot points and overused tropes to a few inconsistencies with peoples' characters from the first game. From what I've been told Navirou isn't nearly as arrogant in the first game as he is in the second, and that his pride is a recent development. However, nothing irks me more than two particular situations we are given.

Okay, yeah, that was very much a wolf. The young mechanical chimera had just decided to take a walk today, in order to try and make himself relax at least a bit.
...He also might had singed some grass in the forest with his psi because he needed to let off some steam. Just a bit though, thankfully.
...He couldn’t help but look down at the ground due to that thought. He thought that he was better at controlling his anger then that. But he guessed not.
“...You’re a very pretty wolf.” He said as he looked back up, and noticed that her tail was curled. Well, she seemed docile.
“...Don’t mind me. I was plannin’ on goin’ home soon.” He decided to explain. “I just....needed to walk for a bit to clear my head.”

"I feel like ya' aren't an ordinary wolf... But you look like one... But you give off vibes that tell me ya' are somethin' else.. Maybe a human trapped in a wolf's body? I dunno... Can ya' talk?"
