Maystelid day 22 - Amazon weasel

This species has a particular stripe of the same color of the dorso that runs fron its chest all the way down their bellies. The scientific name, Neogale africana, is written next to it. End ID]
Another fella of which very little is known.
It annoyed me at first that their scientific name is still africana after it has been known that their initial identification was a mistake, but now I think it's just funny. My friend's name is Jonathan and he's more Mexican than cacalas, he's never been to an anglospeaking country lol.
