in PART ONE our special edition of THE ROYAL TIMES released this week, we chose to explore the inspiring faces of the lgbtq+ community from the royal families around the world. from guatemala to south korea to egypt and beyond, we’re shining the spotlight on royals that break the mold. 

we’re presenting ten different covers this month, each with a different LGBT royal gracing our magazine, alongside a round table chat with all ten together. we’re aiming to cover the issues that lgbt royals still face and the ways in which their situations can improve - both domestically and internationally.

what dynamics do you want to see that don't exist?

i’m a HUGE sucker for a good opposites attract trope !!! who better to bring a little sunshine into the melancholic life of AMON than our LEONOR ?? i say it’s time to move on from a duchy to a KINGDOM. i’d also love to see enemies begrudgingly turned to friends, where both are in denial, or two lone wolves that are lonely together !! i miss my TRIO of bros, so how ‘bout it ? or a can’t live with them, can’t live WITHOUT them dynamic ?? show me a couple of intergenerational dynamics —— ASTRID and... ROMAN ? i don’t know where, i don’t know WHY but i need to see it. i haven’t gotten enough of my le rosey GIRL SQUAD so, COCO, KARO, INARI — please ? and on the topic of badass females, give me more of our hot MOMS club !! we’re gonna need two more seats for MILENA and FEMKE please !!!
