Base design for the amphithere-inspired frames in my dragonformers au!
They’re a distant cousin to Vosian Wyverns from Solus’s era before that frame-type diverged into the many wyvern frames we have now. Many moved to Caminus when it was first founded for the opportunities new territory and terrain held for them.
Has some elements that are coming from Windblade’s original sketch, so a lot of what you see here will likely show up on her once her design is done. Like her wing-blades for example. I just wanted to make this because I need to make sheets like these eventually to set some visual rules for the various frame-types. Plus it helped me brainstorm Windblade’s design anyways.
Hopefully this isn’t too crunchy when it goes up, had to dumb down the quality of it just so Tumblr let me upload. If anything I have plans to make more of these and upload the full res versions on ko-fi. I also need to do that for all the character refs too.
