A new addition to the Wurm Collection!

I was hoping there'd be a new wurm in this set, since we got Bookwurm the first time around... and I was definitely not disappointed!

It'll get huge with X-cost spells of course... but even just Rabid Bite type things seem like they'd work really nicely. Cast the spell, wurm gets +2/+0 before it chomps one of their more threatening creatures, and now it's free to attack and trample over whatever's left. Oh, they're trying to murder it in response? Throw on a Snakeskin Veil or similar and make it even bigger on top of being not-murdered!

The prerelease was a lot of fun, too. First one I've managed to actually make it to since Aetherdrift!

As you might have guessed from the purple and green froggy themed box, I went with Witherbloom this time around.

I picked Lorehold at the original Strixhaven prerelease, but Witherbloom would've been my second choice then... and the new set came with a big bold "NOW WITH MORE FROG!" label on the green/black/blue cards, so of course I had to go with the school where poison frogs get to use their own poison goop as a potion ingredient this time around. 🤣
