~An apparition or double of a living person.~ It's times like these when I wonder if there's a doppelgänger StarGirl out there somewhere. What's her life like? Is she just as internally tortured? Is she wondering if I'm out there too? Could we get away with switching lives for a while? Maybe she could offer some wisdom, some deep insight into my conundrums. See things from a different perspective but would understand better then anyone. She would be completely honest. She wouldn't hold anything back. I wonder who would notice that those eyes staring back at them were not mine. I wonder if she wonders these things too? Stays up nights with her thoughts flowing over her like a fierce waterfall. Lost within herself most days, no hope for getting out on her own. Trapped. This is just one thought out of hundreds going through my mind tonight... What do you think about? The Bay Area band have just put out their latest 7" on Video Disease, and it is a relentless blend of throat-shredding vocals, blackened riffs, and generous feedback.
