i have quite a few kintypes, but there are only two sources where i kin more than one character. one of those sources has over 100 named characters and my timelines for the kins from that source are (as expected) completely separate. but for SOME godforsaken reason, there exists One source where i kin two characters, and i am 99.7% sure that it was the SAME TIMELINE. the kin gods decided “nope, u need another go-around in that universe specifically” just for kicks. i literally remember having deja vu as character b while having a conversation with character a (also me). like “huh i feel like ive had this conversation before.” NO SHIT!

its so funny too, there are canon comments in source abt how weirdly similar the two characters i kin are even though they seem very different at first glance, and at one point one of the characters i kin (character a) has a stringent internal monologue abt Choosing to fall in love with someone who isnt their true love. the character they insist theyre going to fall in love with? CHARACTER B’S LOVE INTEREST. like lmao youre right, self, just give it a sec. the universe is listening to you, Trust Me.
