Multishipped too hard, sat down to write an analoceit fic and the first person Virgil kissed was Remus

i love DLAMP as a dynamic however i find it viscerally boring when theyre all boyfriends that have a completely normal relationship but also boring when they are just besties. i need them to be Insane and weird.

moceit is in an on-and-off again that could be straight out of a sitcom with how bullshit the dramatics are. they are so divorced and also married. this somehow does not effect the rest of the polycule.

janus keeps trying to break up analogical. virgil and logan both think this is him flirting. this pisses virgil off, and makes logan blush. logan and janus have made out abt this before. virgil and janus almost did but virgil panicked, bit him, and ran away.

moxiety and royality are both very VERY cute qprs. prinxiety arent dating or a qpr but they do occasionally make out. usually after sparring or after heated arguments. no one knows why, and no one plans to ask.

virgil one time, for sillies put out official polycule roles for everyone on the fridge. patton was the cook, roman was twink, janus was gender transer, and logan was tax-filer, before virgil scratched it out and replaced it with "poor little meow meow". the chaos after shouldve been expected.

(janus's official role is Gender Transer bc her being genderfluid made both virgil (bigender, she/he) and logan (transfem, they/she) realize they may Not Be Cis.)

remus isnt in the polycule but he has Something going on with every non-roman member of the polycule. no one can quantify exactly what, but it is Something. roman covers his ears and goes "LALALALA" when anyone brings this up.

roman AND janus both have an official Boyfriend Leaderboard. they are both permanently at the top of each others leaderboards because "mutually assured destruction". somehow, this causes very few problems.

remy has had a Thing with all of them. all of them really want to ask abt adding him to the polycule, but none of them know abt remys Things with the others so they dont know if its appropriate yet. remy knows and finds this fucking hilarious.

o7 On it boss. Ignore that this is like over a week late-

Fuck.

Honestly that's all Logan could think in this situation. Fuck. Was simply standing too much for him now?

He'd been trying to keep himself in check and had been trying to take care of himself but there were too many things to remember. And- unlike in his human body, he didn't really get warnings before anything that lacked upkeep would render him useless.

Not to mention, it was embarrassing as hell to have to be taken care of because he forgot to do something as simple as stretch or oil his joints. At this point he didn't know which it was. All he knew was that he was trying to move and he couldn't.

Ten minutes passed. Then twenty. Then thirty. An hour. Two hours. Two and a half. He was wasting precious time just standing here when he could be working. Right around the 2 hour 45 minute mark he got a knock on his door.

"Hey, uh Lo?" It was Virgil. Great. "I just wanted to check in and see how you were since you missed lunch." Logan couldn't respond. He couldn't open his jaw. "Logan? Are you unconscious again?" No, not technically. "I'm coming in if you don't respond in five seconds."

1... 2... 3... 4... 5...

"Alright. I'm assuming you died again" And so enters his knight in hooded armor. Virgil sighs and crosses his arms while Logan stands there staring at the ground. "I'd ask you what you forgot but I don't think that'd do either of us any good."

Logan fixes his gaze into a glare before casting it up to Virgil who seems to take no offence. "Don't get pissy with me. You did this on your own" Logan rolls his eyes and Virgil just about turns on his heel and walks out then and there. Still, after a second he steps forward to see what's wrong.

"God- you're so lucky." And while Virgil doesn't elaborate on what Logan is lucky for, he gets the idea and makes a mental note to find some way to repay this to Virge later.

"I think whatever acts as muscles in your body are just tense. You need to stretch them more often or they'll tighten up like this" Awesome. Problem identified. Now how do we fix this? "I'm not exactly sure how to fix it because I'm afraid just pulling might break something."

Virgil stares at the joints for a moment before voicing one of his thoughts. "I wonder if heat would work to make them more loose?"

That made sense in Logan's mind. "I'm gonna go steal one of Janus's heating pads. Be back in a minute"

One minute passed. Two. Three. Then...

"If you're going to steal my shit I at least want to know what for-" Janus was right behind Virgil as he made his way into Logan's room.

When Janus' eyes land on Logan's frozen figure they widen for a moment, seemingly unsure of what emotion to settle on. Logan thinks he can see concern, exasperation, shock, care, and annoyance all in one. How does one get that combination?

"You're a fucking idiot." Apparently by being a fucking idiot. Janus sighs and leans against the wall across from Logan as Virgil wraps a heating blanket around Logan's shoulders.

Hopefully Logan would be back in commission soon enough...
