MOVIE REVIEW: I’m Thinking of Ending Things
I’M THINKING OF ENDING THINGS
is a difficult movie
to pin down
on
the first viewing,
or on
the second viewing,
and
experiencing
I’M THINKING OF ENDING THINGS
is experiencing
your own life
and
reflections of
YOUR OWN LIFE
like
disappointments,
anxieties,
and
fear of death,
or
maybe
this is just me
and
my
ADD
triggering me to
think about
my own Life
and
FEAR OF DEATH
and
the truth is
I’m Thinking of Ending Things
is a hard movie to review because
people will come up with their
own conclusions
and
coming up with your
OWN CONCLUSIONS
is what I believe is one
of the many things
I’M THINKING OF ENDING THINGS
is trying to accomplish,
but
I would be a liar if I
could tell you
everything
I’m Thinking of Ending Things
is trying to accomplish,
but I can say
the movie is
a joy
to listen in on,
observe,
rewatch,
and
that it may take
five more viewings to
REWATCH
I’m Thinking of Ending Things
and figure out exactly
what its director
CHARLIE KAUFMAN
Is trying to say
and
CHARLIE KAUFMAN,
who wrote
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,
and directed
Anomalisa,
is a filmmaker
who makes what he wants to make
and
does what he wants to do,
and the result
is something
ambiguous,
thoughtful,
strange,
and
a
mind fuck of
of a movie
only
CHARLIE KAUFMAN
can do!
I’m Thinking of Ending Things
