Sometimes I forget Archie isn’t a canon character and I realized after writing all of this that I basically just wrote a fic for two oc’s
I haven’t written any fics or anything yet for this au (on this blog) and I’m happy that I’m finally getting something out. This little fic takes place right on the timeline of the comic, right in between the second and third chapter.
Anyways, enough talking about random stuff, here’s Archie and Andrew. Send an ask if you’ve got any questions or curiosities<3

__
Archie lays still for so long he’s forced to wonder if he’s really awake or if his numbed limbs have carried him into a state of vacant sleep paralysis. Nothing feels right, his aching body, his headache that’s causing an awful tension behind his eyes, the pain rolling up his spine and making him feel nauseous everywhere else that wasn’t in physical pain. Archie had been angry for a long time, and still is currently. He didn’t really know how to deal with it. Laying in bed and refusing to let it out of his mind was his only method so far.
His brain still panged with the memory. The one thing that had the power to make Archie feel so angry and so lost in the shortest amount of time he deemed possible.
I’m sorry I can’t always be there when your parents aren’t! It’s not my fault they don’t accept you.
The words burned into Archie’s ears with fire, causing his lungs to collapse and a never ending flow of tears trail down his cheeks. He wasn’t sad, no, he was mad; pissed. How could Andrew say something like that? After months of hiding their relationship and going through the process of coming out--which was a very painful process that unfortunately, will never end for Archie--and feeling that Andrew was his only safe space, how could he do that? Who gave him the right?
Archie’s lungs hurt. He was practically heaving out his emotions into his pillow all day. He didn’t go to school and he knew his parents would probably gripe about it when they got home from work in an hour, but he didn’t care. The annoyance of their yelling couldn’t equal how Archie felt right now.
Most of it subsided not long ago. The crying, at least. Archie remains in bed with a sinking weight on his body, his cheeks were stained with trails of salt and his head hurt more than it probably ever has. There’s a horrendous pounding in the back of his head.
Pound pound pound.
It hurts so bad.
Pound pound pound pound.
Jesus, why can he hear it happening in his brain?
Archie turns his head slowly to the side, a sudden flush of blood rushing to parts of his body that he previously thought were asleep as he was laying there. Carefully he turns his head to see behind him towards the wall where his window resided, the window that Archie used as his own personal door. He didn’t want his parents to know when he left and came home, same with when Andrew would stay over. He couldn’t possibly come through the front door, not another boy Archie’s age with how everything’s striking down after Archie coming out.
Evidently behind Archie’s sulking body, was Andrew. He was crouched outside the window, looking like he was waiting for a signal to come in. Archie locked the window last night, right?
A shift, wood chafing against wood. He didn’t lock the window.
There was no sound while Archie moved back to his original uncomfortable position. It was almost like Andrew wasn’t even there, he was so silent moving about the room. For a minute Archie thought maybe he was just imagining the whole thing, but then he felt the mattress tilt beside him. The heat on Archie’s back suggested that Andrew was now sitting behind him, agonizingly close due to his already cramped twin bed.
Nobody speaks a word. Archie can feel the tension between he and Andrew, it was hot and hard to breathe. Archie wants to sob, but he’s too tired, exhausted, and his head is forced to stay where it is on the pillow and his eyes dry and stuck miserably open.
“I messed up.” Andrew blankly states, as if Archie didn’t know that already. The sudden sound makes Archie’s body jolt for a split second, then almost immediately return to its lazy state. Neither of them speak after, urging Archie’s thoughts to tell him to respond. “I was really mad. I mean, we both were, but it’s not an excuse. Whatever, I’m not gonna sit here and defend why I said it. I shouldn’t have said it at all.” Andrew pauses, then takes a few breaths to regather his thoughts and Archie’s heart jumps in anticipation. “I don’t know how bad things are no matter how much you tell me about it.” Archie feels the bed shift again, now feeling the burn of eyes against the back of his head and Archie is begging himself to not look back. He shoves the side of his face deeper into the pillow and his shoulders tense. “I can’t really get a read on how you feel but I know it’s not good. So, um...I’m really sorry for what I said. I don’t want to make you feel this way.”
There’s another pause, but Andrew doesn’t continue after this one. He waits for some kind of sign, something that says “I’m listening,” or even something that says “go away.” Andrew is about to give into his doubts with Archie’s stillness, but then he’s fronted with Archie’s face as he slowly sits up, first facing away for about ten seconds, and then turns his face towards Andrew, motionless and weak, far away even though they’re basically touching. He looks so pale and weak, worse than Andrew has ever seen. He can’t stand himself knowing he’s hurt Archie more than his own parents have, it was killing him inside. It took nearly a full day for Andrew to convince himself to apologize.
Archie goes to speak but his voice doesn’t let him. Not after the long hours of crying, the thoughts lingering in every crack of his skull telling him that if he speaks, he’ll start sobbing again.
But no, he can’t. Archie can’t bring himself to cry, not now. His head hurt too bad and he’s not sure he has anymore water in him to force out, but the whimpers and whines still carried out of him. Archie’s tired mind can’t come to a more exciting response than folding forward and placing his head on Andrew’s shoulder while he dry cried into him. Andrew could feel the pain through his boyfriend feeding into him, making his chest heavy with guilt.
“I didn’t mean a word of it, Arch.” Andrew speaks softly as Archie nests his face in his shoulder tiredly. “I said it for no reason, I’m so sorry…”
Andrew couldn’t see more than Archie’s back and the side of his head resting into his neck, but what he could see was either being consoled by his hands or his lips gently holding Archie until his cries lightened.
They stayed like that for some time, enough time for Archie to stop his whines and for Andrew’s arms to weaken around his boyfriends torso. Eventually Archie pulls away and rubs his eyes with the sleeve of his flannel, the one he wears incredibly too often, the one that Andrew takes sometimes because it smells so much like Archie. Archie is jaded and disoriented. Andrew just stares at him, waiting for some kind of response to anything.
“My head hurts.” Archie’s raspy voice speaks, but he doesn’t look up at Andrew. Andrew doesn’t answer; he plays with the fabric of Archie’s cuffs. Archie’s hand moves slowly to softly touch the tips of Andrew’s fingers and for a second Andrew thinks Archie is going to hold his hand, but instead both of Andrew’s hands are brought up to meet the back of Archie’s neck. Andrew chuckles.
“What are you doing?” Andrew asks, but realizes a second later when he feels the obvious difference in heat from Andrew’s fingers to Archie neck. Archie was very warm underneath his fingers, and cold did wonders for his migraines.
Andrew remembers once when he and Archie were still just friends, Archie was at home with a pretty intense migraine, one so bad that he had his feet soaking in hot water in his kitchen sink. Archie was sitting on the counter with his head in his knees, his arms being used as a cushion while he had a bag of frozen corn on the back of his neck.
“You good?” Was all Andrew asked when he entered Archie’s house. Of course, this was quite a while before Archie came out and he was actually allowed to have boys at his house.
“Just a headache, I’ll be good in twenty minutes.” Archie mumbled into his legs just loud enough for Andrew to hear. Andrew smiled at him and sat on the counter, watching Archie even though Archie was just watching his feet under the water.
It was much like now. Archie using Andrew and the cold to comfort his head.
“I told you, my head hurts.” Archie finally responds. Again, Andrew doesn’t respond verbally. He drags his thumb across Archie’s cheek slowly and he opens his eyes, finally looking into Andrew with a weary gaze. Andrew leans forward slowly to plant a drawn out, gentle kiss on Archie’s forehead and pulls away to place his forehead against Archie’s. Archie quickle leans forward and kisses Andrews cheek before resting his head on his shoulder again, closing his eyes. Andrew wasn’t completely sure, but that was his assumption that things are getting better.
“I love you, Arch.” Andrew whispers and begins running his fingers loosely up and down Archie’s back, making Archie shiver and his heart skip a beat.
“I love you too, Drew.” Archie mumbles into his neck. They sit like that for just a minute, then Andrew pulls away slowly to reach in his pocket and pull out a flimsy cardboard box, Archie not noticing what he was doing until he saw the familiar white exterior with a golden camel logo printed on the front of it. Andrew pulls out two cigarettes and his plain black lighter, handing one to Archie, which he accepts between his middle and index finger.
“How about you take some aspirin and we go to the football game and see how many penalties we can give our already-horrible team?” Andrew suggests with a smirk. Archie grins and Andrew feels excitement and happiness run through him, feeling like he hasn’t seen Archie’s smile in a year after the long hours of misery they both just endured.
“Works for me.” Archie answers and stands up, Andrew smiles.
“I love you.” Andrew repeats as he watches Archie walk down the hall to the bathroom where the aspirin is held. “Again.” He adds.
“I love you again, too.” The phrase comes out awkwardly and quiet from the distance between them, but Andrew can hear the lightness in Archie’s voice and smiles.

“What made you think I was gone?“ "Bad dream. Woke up and felt like you weren’t there.” “It’s okay. I’m right here. I’m not leaving you.”

[Part_Four] Say Whut?!
...Once she saw me, she bowed a bit and spoke to me in English asking where she has to go to submit her resume. I was trying hard not to laugh because it was obvious that she thought I was one of the Korean managers. After introducing her to one of the Korean managers (the real one lels), I left her of course. Why would I linger there xD
Just kiddin. Haha. Anyway, that incident reminded me of what happened today. xD
I was at starmall and was just walking around from shangri-la to parklea on my way home, when one lady I passed by suddenly talked to me, saying "Hi, Ma'am!! I like your outfit! Do you speak tagalog?" quite cheerfully (too perky, actually).
But I was already walking a few steps far away from her and I am not going to go back and just to be offered a raffle coupon or umbrella as a gift. I have an umbrella, Thank you very much :3
So I went out to Parklea. The barker was shouting, "Pasig Palengke! Pasig! Pasig! Pasig Palengke!" and when he saw he, he added, "Ma'am! You know tagalog? Pasig Market, Ma'am! Market!"
(-_-") seriously.
I was giving my all not to laugh at loud at the silliness you call today xD
Anyway, Why did I upload the pictures before this entry? haha it was not related to my rant. I just want to post my selfies hahahaha
