"My little Panger"
day 41 // i love gerpan much
Panger patterning
I’m gonna start this off with, these arent strict “rules”, Pangers are one of those very patterned animals. Atleast the domesticated versions.
“Default”
The average Panger will have a lighter colored underbelly and paws with little to no markings. Their scales will be overlapping in typically 2 colors, though there can be more. More uncommonly the scale colors are scattered in no pattern, typically in 2 or more colors.
The underbelly colors can stretch far into the main body coloring, or be hardly visible
Pin Scales
Scales have colored tips instead of being scattered or striped. The tips can creep heavily onto the scale or be hardly visible. They can be any shape as along as it is on the tip.
Dappled Scales
Scales have spots across them coming in various sizes. Spots can form unusual shapes such as stars, rosettes, paw pads, etc. Common in domesticated breeds, extremely rare mutation in the wild.
Tiger Stripes
Named for their resemblance to tigers, these stripes came from a genetic mutation and is a highly sought-after pattern. This striping occurs around the legs, body, neck, and few on the face. Stripes can be as prominent or as least prominent as wanted, does not have to stretch the whole body, but can also stretch the whole body.
Puddling
Named for its drippy effect this pattern appears around the scales, appearing almost like water dripping from above. Often paired with other markings.
Dappling
Unlike Dappled Scales, these spots only appear around the legs and the face. This can be found rarely in the wild, but commonly in domesticated breeds.
Coloring guide
Pangers have a wide range of colors, typically coming in brownish reds, oranges, and yellows. They can rarely be green. Albino and melanistic Pangers ofc exist, but non mutated Pangers should remain in their color ranges.
Scale colors are often lighter than the main body, HOWEVER there are exceptions and the scales can be darker than the main body.

Color ranges examples
Albino Pangers can appear pinkish or purplish, while melanistic Pangers can appear purplish and bluish.
WEAVOXES NEXT!!! Making a new image for those guys because I wanna draw them more and the latest adult version is posed in a way that isnt good for showing off markings.
Look if you stick you arm shoulder deep down someone’s throat I think y’all are past being friends.
