Ya know the saddest part for the tube babies? Even if they were successful in swapping placing, the angels will eventually notice there’s something different about their test subjects. They’ll have markings/scars when they shouldn’t so they will go looking for their original subjects and worse them back into their tubes. They just gotten the taste of living and freedom… now their last moments of the waking world is in fear and rage while their captors stare with blank expressions. To them, they were never alive to begin with.

I did picture the end in which: Villager walks in the test tube room and sees that Witch and Illager were already back unconscious in their tubes. Its assumed that they were forced back inside cuz the other three were just in the room fucking disheveled from fighting them off.
