My stages of watching Bridget Jones

1. It’s just a coincidence he’s called Mr. Darcy, right?

2. Oh, wow. The scene where she overhears him say something mean about her and she immediately hates him even though she’s knows he’s hot, rich and single.

3. That whole movie was just Pride and Prejudice with more sex, booze and bad language.

4. He just came to her rescue and made her believe someone else was responsible because he believes he doesn’t stand a chance with her. Very Mr. Darcy-esque

6. His middle name is Fitzwilliam I am losing my fucking shit.

In summary, I both hated and loved the Bridget Jones films more than anything I’ve ever watched and my Colin Firth obsession grows.
