Alright, so, my boyfriend as of literally like, three days ago (we’ve been talking about making it official for a few weeks, but I needed to take it slow for ex reasons) is a pretty great guy and open minded when it comes to issues like sexuality, religion, and gender (not ghosts tho he’s a pussy). I came out to him when we were friends that I was non-binary/androgynous (and even that I would probably be happier if I was a guy) and he was very understanding. He even wanted to go to Men’s Warehouse and have me try on suits! So every now and then, I would say things like “I’m a fresh boy!” And what not, and he’d agree. One time he casually said that I’m his “little handsome man”. Which I just responded with a simple giggle and blush, because I didn’t know how to tell him how happy that made me. Well, last night, he said I was his “Protective Princess… Or Prince, whatever you prefer” Again, that made me so happy so I told him that he was wonderful, but he didn’t seem to understand why I said that. So I explained to him that my ex would never have stayed with me if I was a prince. (I didn’t explain to him that I told him that I wanted to be a guy and that he said he would leave me if I went through with that ans ever since then I kept getting reminders from him that he was straight.) Anyway, my boyfriend replied with “I want you to be happy and comfortable in your own skin. If that means you’ll be my stunning Princess or my dashing Prince, I’ll treat you like royalty all the same.”
And I was just crying..
