Crash the Spotted Skunk!

Now, how did we get here?

First, I wanted him to just be a skunk, but the fact that he's a "hedge skunk" in the original design gives the impression that they're meant to be unique! So, I picked a more unique skunk, the Eastern Spotted Skunk!

Then, I started on paper. I got down a pose I liked but couldn't figure out any clothes to put on him. But, with some help (from you!) I got some outfit inspiration.

I finished my sketch and put him into my art app, doing a few drawings to the side of them with canon characters! Two you stated he liked, and then Sonic himself because I headcanon Sonic as being ADHD as well.

In the end, all that I had left was the colors! This was lots of fun, and I hope I get to do more redesigns of Sonic characters! Does he look like a canon Sonic character? No. Do I care? No!

On the first question hmmm. He probably showers less than he should. I feel like he has a layer of dirt on his fur at all times to be able to launch all the concentrated dust in his fur directly in the opponent's eyes and make a break for it while they're blinded when in a pinch. Stinky
