Homecoming | Evie & Andie
@andiebaker
Evie wasn’t having the best day. Then again, when was her last good day? She had no idea really. She felt trapped here, in this town, all thanks to this bizarre -A person. Someone had seen her (both times she’d done something out of anger here) and she wanted to know who it was... but she also just wanted to run back to Wales and hide out, but she couldn’t risk it. She could get in serious trouble for what she did to Ruby on the road that day. She was lucky the other girl hadn’t died or something. It’s not that Evie hated her but Ruby could also be very difficult and argumentative, or at least Evie had found her to be that way. She was trying to look out for people and help them and it kept getting thrown back in her face!
She’d just got home from Wales, visiting with their parents and new baby brother, and the first familiar face she’d spotted was Andie. She thought about hiding and just catching up with her another time because she really didn’t need another argument but Evie was also pretty worried still, about her last text from -A. Something bad was going on and she wanted to know what it was, she wanted to help her sister. -A was right about what Evie did, surely they were right about Andie and Charlie. It always felt like there was something her father was holding back about Charlie (though Evie wouldn’t have guessed it was really that Charlie was being honest) and it made sense if her father knew or suspected Charlie of being... well. Something that all signs seemed to point to. Who’s to say being family stopped him from hurting someone? So she made her way over and tapped her sister on the shoulder. “Miss me?”
