Tuva B Larsen, Micke Jansson, and Andreas Weise as Anya, Vlad, and Dmitry at the Malmö Opera.
Andreas Weise is well known back home for his smooth crooning and his role on Swedish Idol 2010. He takes a firm hold of both ears and heart with his most recent single, Hold Me Close, a taste from a forthcoming EP releasing in 2018. The singer songwriter linked up with Richard Nilsson to write the infectiously moving, soulful lilting pop piece, which he describes as being about the feeling when life suddenly feels real and gets a bigger meaning. Hold Me Close also showcases a new sound for the former Idol artist and an endearing heartfelt authenticity. Now that we’ve finally been introduced to the Swedish artist, we’ll be certain to look out for his new EP and next releases.
